This property has a huge bug issue. There was cockroach’s crawling on the walls, and all over the bathroom. We killed about a dozen. We notified the front desk and they advised they would speak to their manager and notify us back, we have not heard anything back. We were not the only family with this issue as our entire softball team stayed at this location and had the same issue. Someone needs to look into this, not sure how they could serve breakfast, nor even be open for business.

Twenty one Pilots Trip
My stay at the St Louis Westport LaQuinta was perfect. The airport shuttle was prompt and painless. Charlie at the front desk is amazing, he makes you feel very welcome! Only stayed one night before moving on, but will definitely stay again. In my opinion, more comfortable and modern than the 175 dollar a night Hamton Inn. Great stay!

It was a good hotel. Staff was good, airport shuttle is a plus. Lower price compared to others. Lobby area was clean but hallways to room were dirty. The room could definitely use some extra attention.

The man at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. The first room we were placed in smelt horrible, and was dirty. Our neighbors next door were blaring music and smoking weed. We had 3 young children with us. We went down and told him and he apologized told us he would take care of that. Then he placed us in a different room. The second room wasn’t horrible but it was not thoroughly cleaned, and the beds were not very comfortable.

Admittedly, they were accommodating my late request for a ground floor room, but the one they gave me had long since seen its better days. The bathtub and the bathroom counter had numerous dislodged parts that were broken. The toilet also didn´t work.

1. The staff was in general friendly. 2. The room was accetably clean, the carpet needed thorough cleaning, the room should be cleaned but I have the impression that it was not during my one-week stay. 3. The room door magnet did not work properly, two access cards were provided upon report of the magnet issues, but both of these new cards showed similar issues. In the end, I had to try swiping cards multiple times each day to get the door open. 4. Email or within Expedia communication was lacking from the hotel. If you would like their airport shuttle service, please be sure to successfully contact them and secure a reserved booking prior to your travel. Trying to contact by email from airport failed. 5. I got double charged twice for two days: I had already paid in full through expedia my entire stay, yet they made deductions that seemed to match cost of two days until I reported to the staff in person on my case. The trouble is I have not been able to request a return of such double payment done by themselves on my credit account. Several email communication attempts from my side since then until today have resulted in zero reply. I guess I will not get them back. 6. The deposit or 50 usd associated with the use of a debit card has not been returned, which might be relevant to point 4&5: lack of communication from the hotel side. 7. Apparently the hotel will undergo renovation in the near future. I hope it to become a more deserving place of stay on business trip then.
