If you enjoy a million-dollar hilltop view at a reasonable price, try this one! We stayed for 5 nights. Loved everything! The room is spacious, clean, and updated. The bed is very comfortable. With a full-size fridge, microwave, stovetop, and all the cookware and utensils, we saved a lot of money by making simple yet delicious meals. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring your eye mask for a few indicator lights on different appliances and earplugs for the slight noise of A/C and fridge. But compared to the amazing view from the balcony, we have nothing to complain about. Close to everything, but you definitely need a car. Won't recommend walking up and down on the narrow mountain road with no sidewalk even though Google may tell you the restaurant nearby only takes a 15-minute walk.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. The view from our balcony was excellent, and the grounds were nice. The wait staff at the restaurant was very nice, but the food was just okay. It is a bit challenging to walk from here because sidewalks are spotty near it and the property is on a pretty steep hill.

I truly liked the location of this property, the rooms were nice and had a good view. Unfortunately, the units are not cleaned very well between guests. One of the chairs had loose pills in the crease of the chair. There was long strands of hair on the shower glass. The shower floor looked like it doesn’t get cleaned at all. This is truly a disappointment considering the rooms look nice. The bartenders/ servers were nice. The person that works in their convenience store focuses way too much in those slot machines, like I watched them using it when I went in there. The food is average and highly overpriced. If they focused a little more on the upkeep of the rooms and grounds this would be a gem with so much potential.

We stayed a total amount of 5 nights at Bluebeard’s castle. The view was amazing and so were the staff Close to downtown I would recommend to rent a car to save money on taxi fees The room was remodeled and very pleasant Loved the restaurant and pool area very close and convenient to the rooms Be aware the wild roosters will wake you up but by the end of the trip I loved the morning alarm clock. Would stay again next time

We liked the view, that was the only great thing about the place. however the front desk people were rude and weren’t friendly at all! We had to walk back to the front lobby twice because our keys kept malfunctioning and we couldn’t get into the room. We didn’t even get an apology just rudeness.

Would definitely stay here again. We had a Villa with a balcony that overlooked the ocean. The room had a nice couch, comfortable bed, table and chairs for dining, a kitchen area with Fridge, microwave, sink, coffee pot (with coffee), and hot plate. It was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. The pool area was beautiful. Lots of room to lay out in the sun or shade. Bar and restaurant were great. People were friendly and the food was good. Drinks were delicious! On site laundry, minutes to shopping and restaurants.

On site museum, shops, and restaurants by the pool and hot tub made for awesome unplanned relaxation days at the hotel. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were all so nice and sociable.

First of all before I say anything else I want to say anyone visiting St Thomas should absolutely rent a car it's a must. A Jeep is even better because a few Beach roads were very off-road, most of them though a car is just fine. The hotel itself was very nice the food was surprisingly good in the restaurant. The swimming pool/ hot tub is open until midnight which was pretty awesome. The views from the hotel are spectacular. But the island in general is like this it is super hilly here very little flat land. The wifi worked perfectly except for for the week except one Saturday night when the hotel was completely packed and I couldn't log in for 8 hours but regular cell phone service worked slow but ok (Verizon). The showers were great with plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable. Full sized fridge. Oceana was the best restaurant on the island by the way. It's worth the money to buy a snorkel and mask when you first get to the island. Magens bay beach had many turtles and a few manta rays. It was the best snorkel Beach. Rock city tacos is the other recommendation.

Besides the phenomenal view from our balcony, we enjoyed the spacious 1-bedroom suite equipped with a sofa bed and kitchenette. The room and view exceeded our expectations. The staff were also very helpful. The walk downtown was only 10-min although the hill was very steep and requires one to be physically fit. We actually enjoyed the workout. We wanted to be near downtown but the trade off was that we needed to travel to the beach.

For the amount of money for each room per night, the roosters would wake us up very early. This is not something you want while on vacation. We could have used a broom in our room to clear the sand off the floor. We understood we would not have maid service. The prices for food were very high. The only redeeming quality of the property were the amazing views.

Good for the price.

Having a lot of hotel amenities was not important to us as we spend our time on excursions, etc, needing the hotel only for sleeping. Bluebeard is good for that. The walk to local restaurants and shopping is quite a journey, so you will either have to rent a car ( they drive on the left ) or taxi everywhere. Be careful of a few of the cab drivers up charging you. A mixed bag of good and not so good attitudes with the staff, which is what you will find throughout the island. Overall, not a bad place to stay.
