Radisson Blu Leeds
We have stayed here before hence our choice, though not such a great night’s sleep this time. We were looking out onto the mall & from about 11pm -2am there was some sort of heavy plant outside constantly beeping & the guys working were shouting to each other - outside the hotels control but maybe something we should have been made aware of. We had to open all the windows as the air con didn’t work! In the morning we were woken at 6am with what sounded like fur being dragged rather than lifted across the floor. After a long journey, all we could be offered in the way of food was pizzas - not too much of a problem as there are several restaurants a short walk away. Other niggles were that like many hotel rooms it was very dark with no light (other than a downward desk lamp) by the dressing table mirror, the shower leaked from the hose end & there were no hand towels in the bathroom. All this said, I must mention that the room & bathroom were spotlessly clean

Unfortunately just over an hour after we checked in we received a call that our nephew had been killed in an accident so we checked out asap. The staff were lovely. The room looked very nice. Lovely bathroom. No room service as there was no chef. Just as well as we wouldn’t have had time to eat it. Maybe we’ll get to try again another time

Air con blew hot air the room just kept heating up and was over 24 degrees, was not working, they couldn’t supply a fan and when I demanded they move me room, that took an hour of arguing and then had exactly the same problem. Don’t stay here if you want to sleep !

Super Central Hotel
Hotel was great! Very central, clean and a good size for 2 people. The bed was super comfy and the amenities were good. The only issue we had was the air conditioning wasn’t very good. It was a super hot evening so the room was very stuffy. When turning down the aircon it, not only, didn’t seem to change, it was also very loud so having it on overnight was a pain! Other than that it was a really great stay.
