When I arrived at this hotel to check in at the reception, they demanded an additional $100. They charged $50 for early check-in and another $50 for parking and a deposit. Honestly, my rating for this experience is zero. However, I must say the hotel’s location and cleanliness are really good. Ultimately, this hotel may charge you 3-4 extra fees for different reasons.

Decent hotel but fees and noise not good
Upon arrival self parking was our option and we then took an elevator to get to the hotel lobby. The check in was a breeze then headed to the room. Upon entry the room looked clean but the pillows on the bed smelled unclean. I called housekeeping but the set of pillows never arrived. So we went to dinner and upon return, still no pillows. Called housekeeping again and the male person confessed he left the pillows to the wrong room. Our 1st night we were awaken by some people talking out loud in the hallway, and slamming of room doors. We just couldn't get a good nights rest. The other problem we had was that the room door didn't close on its own after exiting the room or even entering the room. We had to firmly push the door in order for it to close and lock. The hotel had a good steak restaurant and oyster bar. The location of the hotel was also near other restaurants and places to hang out. There was also other hotels in the area. Check out was also a breeze but the price to park daily was $20 and there was too many fees. The internet wasn't great but average at best. I didnt try out the other hotel amenities.

The former hard rock needs to be updated. Front desk, staff needs to be retrained on explaining checkout times and other things of that nature when a client checks in.

There were two used washcloths still hung up on the shower curtain. The toilet paper roll dispenser would come off the wall. Temperature control was inconvenient. Turning on cool air would only blow hot air. Staff can only do so much to be accommodating like open the sliding door or bring us a fan, which was appreciated.
