The check in clerk was super friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff did a great job on the room. The only downside was the pool was closed and the other properties around it were run down.

Jen, the receptionist, was extremely friendly and informative. She even provided a list of restaurants and recommendations for our dining pleasure. The facility was very neat and well maintained. Jen made us feel right at home.

Staff was excellent. Room was clean but had some damage that should probably be corrected. My biggest complaint is that pool and hot tub were not open (and it was clear they weren't being worked on and weren't going to open soon). This was not disclosed, we discovered after paying (non-refundable) and after checking in. I have a 5 & 7 year old. Pools are clutch. I want to know if the pool isn't open because if so, I am not booking there. That simple.

The hotel desk clerk Doug was absolutely rude when I arrived to check in. He ignored me while he continued to have a conversation with a worker. After placing my belongings in the room, I went into town to get dinner. When I got back to the Comfort Inn, there were overwhelming noxious fumes throughout the Comfort Inn. This front desk person threatened to physically remove me from the premises as I stated to him that I wanted a refund because of the noxious fumes that were throughout the entire Comfort Inn. I was concerned for my safety. I went to the third floor to reach out to Expedia and a police officer came knocking at the door. I explained the details of the incident to the police officer and he confirmed the smell was overwhelming and that he had heard other guests complaining about the smell. He told me he could ticket Doug for threatening me if I wished and he gave me his card with the incident report number. The officer told me that the police have been called out to that area numerous times in the past. At my request, the police officer waited for me downstairs while I packed up my belongings to ensure that I was not accosted by Doug when I left. When I was at my new hotel (so much nicer), Expedia called me to ask about the incident. I relayed the details and told Expedia that they needed to take this Comfort Inn off their listing. They noted everything and gave me a full refund and apologies. This location is an embarrassment to the Comfort Inn name!!

Stay was good except we stay here one weekend a month and their pricing went up considerably. Not sure if we will stay here again. You would think that a monthly weekend stay would get better rates.

If you are simply looking to stop driving and need a place to sleep, it’s okay. I wanted to use the gym in the morning but access was locked out and desk person didn’t know how to unlock it. So couldn’t even use that. Pool and hot tub had no water in them either. Not sure why the gym was locked out. Poor state.

Lobby was just ok. Had to wait for the check in person. Had to call a number to reach him. He was coming from another hotel next to this one. He was managing 3 different hotels on property. Not good having a person at the desk. The entrance outside and surrounding area was nasty. Breakfast was average. Waffles were good. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
