This Hotel is NOT a 5 star even those they have it. There is not AC in any room and they tell us because the country weather conditions but in JUNE is summer so rooms are very HOT and if you open the window like they recommended to us there is a LOT of NOISE from the street. Hotel is not well maintained, carpets are dirty in every part including my room. I always choose FIVE starts hotels and I traveled a lot but this particular one is not supposed to be 5 starts. This place need a lot of job and maintenance, very big renovation because is in a good location.

Ideally located on the water with great views to the Modern Art Museum, completely walkable to Gamla Stan and all the restaurants, bars and shopping there. Highly recommend the bar, great cocktails, jazz the nights we were there, bar manager Denise was beyond wonderful. She explained much about the building and her part in designing the features of the bar, so impressive! Spa area was incredibly relaxing, sauna felt so good after being out walking, but be aware, when it’s time to close, the attendant will turn bright lights on, open the sauna door wide, and throw the pool cleaner into the plunge pool. Hurry up and gather your stuff, she is ready for you to get out! Up until that jarring ending, we were calm and winding down after a long day :) Front desk staff is helpful with arrangements and tickets, enjoyed talking to them and asking for recommendations. Really enjoyed an excellent stay!
