The Annex building is a historic 1850 home right on Main St. in Stowe Village. 2 minute walk to the shuttle! We will consider a dog after speaking with you first. You can step right outside the front door onto Main St. The apartment itself has just been newly furnished, and the kitchen is brand new. The large windows, and wooden beams throughout retain the historic feel of this old building and give it it's charm. This unit has central A/C & New Washer/Dryer.

Very cute.
Basically as advertised. I can’t really complain. I live in NYC, so the road noise didn’t bother me at all. (Some noise from upstairs neighbors also, but not bad. I suppose you could be unlucky if the upstairs renters are very stompy when you are there.)The kitchen is, I would say, barely adequate for any type of cooking. This won’t be a problem for you if you plan to mostly eat out. That’s what we planned, but a combination of extreme weather and a car not suited to it forced us to cook more than we intended. I will say that the bedroom was difficult to keep warm enough, but we were in Stowe for some of the coldest, windiest days of the year, so YMMV. But really, the place is everything promised. Bed was comfortable, and communication with host was easy. I appreciated that there wasn’t a bunch of annoying checkout requirements.

Visited for a solo mid-week ski trip. Great value, quick walk to town/restaurants, and an easy drive to the mountain. I would stay here again.

Great location in downtown Stowe that's totally walkable to a ton of of restaurants/bars and only ten minutes to the Mt. Exceptional price too!

Excellent stay in town
The Annex was attractive, comfortable, and immaculate. The bed is very comfortable. There is traffic noise outside but the room has a sound machine which masks most noise and ear plugs which I used when snow plows were working. It is in a convenient location within walking distance to restaurants and a short walk to the shuttle bus stop. We parked our car and only used ut once during our stay.

Great place with a responsive owner
The place was clean and comfortable, and Aaron was a responsive host. The only issue we had was that my son was allergic to dog dander, and he had a somewhat serious reaction after sleeping on the couch the first night. After we told Aaron about it, he took prompt action and sent a cleaner to clean the couch and the rug in front it. The cleaner also opened the couch--it was actually a sofa bed with sheets but we were too exhausted from skiing to look into it the first night. My son was fine the second night.

Great experience
Check in/out was easy. The pictures provided an accurate idea of the place. The bedroom is located right off the main road, so it can be a bit noisy during high traffic hours, but the host provides a noise machine, earplugs, and eye masks, which was appreciated. Lots of restauraunts and a grocery store within walking distance.

What a mistake!
My 5 day stay lasted one night! The noise factor was horrible, semi trucks, snow plows all night, bedroom is 10 feet away from a busy Main Street road. Must be a truck route right through this beautiful little town. You need more than ear plugs!! Horrible! Building is in real need of repair. Almost fell off the front steps trying to get to my car parked down a hill in the snow and ice. The linen on closet was soiled. Awful experience and an expensive mess. Should have know better when it lists ear plugs and eye mask supplied, if needed. Give me a break!

Great Stowe Location
We enjoyed our stay at Aaron’s property. We did experience a couple of minor issues, but Aaron was attentive and in the end it was pretty much what we expected being fairly noisy so close to the road though also nice being close to downtown. Very comfortable bed and plenty of space for us in the unit.

The Annex
We enjoyed our stay in Stowe very much! After having an appointment at Dartmouth on Halloween, we wanted to stay and make the most of the experience and Stowe was the answer. Aaron was easy to get a hold of when we needed him as we had a couple issues with the keypad on the door. The property was clean, comfortable and very convenient being right in the village. We were able to walk to Maple street for trick or treating which was a great experience for our sons first trick or treating adventure!

Just PERFECT!
Location was perfect. The property was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The parking spot was KEY and being able to walk to Stowe was awesome considering the traffic at this time of year. VERY comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Overnight
This was a great stop for overnight in Stowe. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. The property met all of our needs and included thoughtful touches like ear plugs for sleeping and extra blankets.

Perfect spot in the heart of Stowe
This was the perfect spot within walking distance to downtown Stowe. It was the perfect size for my husband and me. It was very clean and decorated so cute. We highly recommend staying here.

Super handy!
This is a great spot. I read some reviews regarding the noise and proximity to the highway, and yes, you can hear it but traffic dies down to nearly nothing during the evening, and ear plugs and a sound machine are provided (which are more than enough for most sleepers to enjoy a restful night of sleep. Speaking of sleep, the bed is VERY comfortable! VRBO failed to provide access info, but the owner was super speedy to respond and help us gain access. I’d feel very comfortably recommending this rental!

Great location, super clean
The Annex is in a superb location, literally a hop, skip, and jump from the downtown shops and recreation trail. The place was very clean and bigger than expected. The bed was comfortable and the outside noise wasn’t an issue. I can see if someone has a sensitivity to noise or light may have trouble sleeping but we put the fan on and could barely hear the cars going by. Also the host responds quickly to any questions I had. Overall a wonderful experience!

Wonderful historic home that is very close to the lower village. Easily walk to restaurants and shops. It is right on the road, but we didn’t find it to be too loud. The only negative is that being an old house, the floors do creak if someone is upstairs. Overall, we’d highly recommend this apartment.

Cute but loud!
Check in and checkout were super easy. Apartment was modern and clean. Loved being able to walk to town. But like others have said, sleeping 20 feet from a major road in an old house was loud. We had two fans blasting so it helped dull the noise, but yikes! Otherwise, great place!
