What a lovely house!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stayed in this house that has been carefully updated to provide a comfortable stay while retaining all the charm of it's age and beauty. Nicole was a superb host taking time to share information about the area and provided excellent recommendations on local activities for us to pursue..

Charming cottage in a great area
This charming little cottage is just the perfect place to get away from it all. Situated in the Alsatian countryside, it is perfectly places for rambling in the Vosges natural region, as well as for trips to Strasbourg or Colmar. The cottage is surprisingly spacious, and the lovely rose garden is a joy to be in. I thoroughly recommend the cottage for a stay with family, or indeed with friends.

Beautiful Vintage in Alsace.
Simply splendid gite in the most wonderful vintage style, with plenty of space and gloriously adorned with myriads of vintage items in every room. Beautifully clean and well cared for, everything about this lovely cottage was just perfect. The gardens on various levels and having many twists and turns, were full of beautiful flowering plants and shrubs , as well as many varieties of roses. Nicole Hornecker and her husband were only too pleased to help and give advice when needed and we really enjoyed being invited out to social gatherings at a twinning association party and to dinner one evening at the Nicole's beautiful house. They brought us fruit to enjoy and encouraged us to pick lovely flowers from the garden. We would certainly book this gite again when visiting the Alsace region.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Haus ist stilvoll renoviert und detailreich eingerichtet. Wir haben hier eine erholsame Woche mit der Familie verbracht. Der Garten lƤdt zum Ausruhen ein, Im Haus gibt es schƶne PlƤtze zum Essen, Spielen, Lesen, Ausruhen. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Ausflugsziele und Wandermƶglichkeiten in den Vogesen.

Super Kommunikation und sehr sympathische Gastgeber. Das HƤuschen ist ein Kleinod zwischen ausstaffiertem Heimatmuseum und Geheimtipp im Hochglanzjournal. Schƶne Auszeit im Fachwerkhaus
HĆ¼bsches stilvoll renoviertes Ferienhaus in einem blĆ¼hendem Garten. Genug Platz fĆ¼r eine 4- kƶpfige Familie. Sehr nettes Vermieter-Paar. Wir haben AusflĆ¼ge nach Strassbourg, Saverne, Arzviller und zum Rhein-Marne-Kanal gemacht. Im Dorf Furchhausen selbst gibt es kaum Infrastruktur, aber das war uns vorher bekannt, wir waren mobil (Auto nƶtig zum einkaufen ).

+ Wirklich sĆ¼ĆŸes HƤuschen mit schƶnem Garten und netter Inneneinrichtung, sehr angenehme AtmosphƤre. - Keine Gastronomie und Einkaufsmƶglichkeit im Dorf, man muƟ immer 15-20min. Auto fahren. Das Dusche im Sitzen unter einer DachschrƤge ist gewƶhnungsbedĆ¼rftig und ein paar Stellen im Bad sind mal wieder renovierungsbedĆ¼rftig. Keine GeschirrspĆ¼lmaschine. Fazit: Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĆ¼hlt, und darauf kommt es schlieƟlich an.

GemĆ¼tliches, altes Bauernhaus mit schƶnem Garten und Schatten spendendem Baumbestand. Man muss es rustikal mƶgen.
