Girls Weekend
Pros: There were 7 of us women that enjoyed our stay and would come back for another weekend. We were pleasantly surprised that there was more comfortable outdoor seating than shown in the pictures. Most of us spent the entire day outside paddle boarding and floating in the lake and gathering around the fire pit at night. They had everything you could want available to use, beach towels, camping chairs, lake toys and floats, patio umbrellas on the porch and dock, a table inside large enough to seat all of us so we could comfortably laugh and play games, the beds/pillows were all new and comfortable.
Cons: the house has its quirks, probably from what seems like foundation issues? It’s visibly crooked when inside. The upstairs bathroom door doesn’t stay closed on its own so you either use it with the door open or put the laundry basket in front of the door to keep it from swinging open. Couple of broken lamps & outlets that didn’t work. Tried to open a couple of windows that look out to the lake but some were stuck closed. We also lost power on Saturday night, unsure why as there were no storms happening but it was the whole lake that lost power not just the house. The power came back on the next morning before checkout.
Though the cons list may seem long none of it took away from the overall wonderful experience we had.
