Palm Breeze at Sunset Strip

A perfect family home in a great location close to the Smiths Beach Surf beach and the Grand Prix racetrack. Featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen, dining and living area, and two outdoor areas.

The open plan living, dining and kitchen opens out to the front balcony with extentable bi-fold doors, making the outside belonging to the inside and the same with the inside. A very relaxing place to enjoy your leisure time. The open plan dining and living area has a large wall mounted smart TV, DVD player, sound system, gas heater and a large reverse cycle air conditioner. A very comfortable area to enjoy your holiday.

The master bedroom has a Queen bed and an en-suite with a ceiling fan and TV mounted on the wall, bedroom 2 has a Queen bed with a reverse cycle air conditioner with a TV, and bedroom 3, has a bunk bed consisting of a double and a single bed with a TV and a reverse cycle air conditioner.

A family bathroom with separate toilet and a European laundry with top loader washing machine and a clothes dryer.

The modern kitchen has a fridge with freezer, gas hot plates and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, pod coffee machine, kettle, toaster and kitchen utensils, saucepans, cutlery, and crockery plus more including a large reverse cycle air conditioner.

With 2 outdoors areas one at the front of the house and the other at the back of the house with outdoor table setting, fire pit and BBQ. Free WI-Fi. For the baby and toddler there is a high chair and a porta cot provided. Plenty of parking on the property and fully fenced. please note there are 2 CCTV cameras on the outside of the home.

A great home to come and enjoy the beach and the area with everything you require. linen and towels are not provided.
This great beach house is located at Sunset Strip a neighbour suburb to Smiths Beach on Phillip Island, only a ten-minute walk to the main surf beach and shops. Very close to the Phillip Island Grand Prix track, and approximately 10 minutes’ drive to the penguins, koala conservation centre and other Phillip Island attractions including the main shopping centre of Cowes where there is a good selection of supermarkets, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Located halfway on Phillip Island. A quiet location and perfect for a getaway and rest.

No Smoking Policy.

Pets are not welcome.

Please note sheets and bath towels are not provided. There are doonas with covers, pillows with pillow protectors, plenty of spare rugs, bath matts, hand towels and tea towels. You can bring your own or if you would like to hire linen please let Dianne the holiday rental manager and this is invoiced separately for payment.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a strict NO PARTY policy. The house is located in a residential area and noise and public disturbances will not be tolerated. Guests will be asked to leave the premises without notice should noise or nuisance complaints be received or if the number of guests exceeds the number confirmed at time of booking.

There are many activities available on Phillip Island and only 1.5 to 2-hour drive from Melbourne CBD. A perfect location for you to enjoy your break away.

The place is excellent, but our experience with the property manager, not so much!
The check-in process was really smooth. The house is very secure and there is an undercover car port to park the car. Large backyard which is wonderful for families. Rooms were spacious, and kitchen was central to all rooms which was nice! Washer and dryer is an added bonus. Overall, a cozy house that caters to a family wanting a short getaway! However, now comes the issue. On day one, after a long day of travel to Phillip Island, we get to the accommodation to prepare dinner and wind down, just to realise the ignition on the stove was not working. We were not told this, and my text message to the property manager was not answered. So I called her asking what to do, and her response was “yea it’s not working, you need to use matches / gas lighter”. After searching for matches & gas lighter, I rang her back and told her we couldn’t find any matches, and her response was “I don’t know where it is, but I know it’s there”. She kept telling us to look properly and then said “I can’t help you”. I told her she could have helped by telling us earlier so that we could have bought supplies, she then asked if I want her to drive to the property to pass some matches. I told her that if she could do that it would be good as I have to feed my child, and she asked again if I really expected her to do that since she lives 15 minutes away, and it was 8pm. I told her I would not want to inconvenience anyone, but I really need to feed my child. She then asked if there was any other food I could give my child. I told her “Well no, because it’s her dinner. You could have at least given us a heads up about the stove, we have just come back from the shops getting supplies, we could have gotten some matches”. She then finally says “well sorry I didn’t give you that information, I’m sorry” though it didn’t feel genuine, felt as though it was forced. I just told her that I’ll manage, and ended the call. She never called or texted back to find out if we managed ok, even till today. Thank god for some kind neighbours we managed to get some matches off them, so that we could feed our child.. I will never book another accommodation with this property manager again. PS: I know that she will reply saying that she did come by the next day (after we left at about 11am) to drop off matches and gas lighter. Thanks, but too late! I would recommend the house itself, but not the property manager.
