Off season for snow skiing. Not as convenient if just looking for a hotel. Only stayed one night out of our two night reservation. Wanted to be closer to lake Louise since parking is so bad there.

The sunshine mountain lodge was a fun experience for most people who like hiking or just wanting to see the view on the cable car. Dining options weren't to bad as the nearby burger shop was pretty delicious with also the chicken strips being very crunchy! Now for the entertainments we went to Banff park and visited Louise lake which were both amazing tourist destinations! Overall a good experience at the sunshine hotel! :)

I loved the location of the property. The area at the top of the mountain was beautiful and a nice bonus to see and enjoy while staying at the property! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and nice.

Absolutely loved the stay .hiking was amazing, I would highly recommend this property . Make sure you ask about a fridge , we did not have one in our room . Although there was no ac with the help of a fan from front desk I found it to be fine . Take snacks as vending machines were not available. The cafe in hotel a little pricey but mad trapper’s restaurant and bar was very reasonable and comparable to other restaurants. Better prices than Boston pizza . Other than the amazing gondola ride and chair lift there is nothing for small children . The hikes would be to much for them . If you want an amazing outdoor experience, hiking site seeing , high elevation, I would definitely recommend this place . Best bang for your buck .

No air conditioner, it was hot to sleep. There are mosquitoes in room. Depend of the shuttle to go outside of the hotel and there is not a lot of shuttle available.
