This is a historic hotel with charm. Clean atmosphere, clean rooms and beautiful grounds. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are private and quiet. We stayed in the Robins Roost Room with the Jetted Tub, very romantic with views of the lush green garden and the lake. There’s fruit trees on the grounds. The breakfast was amazing! I highly recommend this place for a rejuvenating and romantic place to stay,

If you are staying in Chester to visit Lassen Park, as we did, this is definitely the place to stay. It has so much character and the rooms are all individual. The grounds are perfect for enjoying an evening drink. The breakfast was amazing - especially as they were able to accommodate a vegan and a celiac sufferer in our party. Little touches included an honesty bar and free sherry in the lounge area. We didn’t stay as it was such lovely weather but there was plenty of room to hang out in the indoor sitting areas too. We were so happy to have stayed here rather than the Best Western down the road.

Great spot for Chester California Stay.
The location is great as it is just in the town limits of Chester. They keep the grounds up very nicely. My Rose room was spacious and furnished nicely.

This is a historic B&B Inn run by a lovely family. The common areas are furnished in old style, giving it a very cozy atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the quiet in the evening after our visit to the Lassen national park. I definitely recommend this place.

This location is absolutely beautiful! It’s perfect! The bed was comfortable. The size of the room was perfect. The restroom and the bathroom area was beautiful and clean. Everything was wonderful. The food was delicious! Great service, everything was wonderful.
