The hillside farm location of the family-friendly Beudy Tawe provides glorious views; of woodland to one side and the Swansea Valley to the other.  Enjoy the generous outdoor space and tranquillity of the immediate surroundings, explore the farm’s own woodland walk or set off along the local footpaths.  Within walking distance is the village of Pontardawe and its shops and pubs, while the city of Swansea is just 8 miles away.  Equidistant from the Gower and the Brecon Beacons National Park, guests are perfectly positioned to choose between coast and mountains

Breathe in and relax…..
……..and from first seeing the property it was. Location easy to find from main road. Best of both worlds – fish and chips at the end of the Mumbles Pier one night and driving over the Breacons the next for dinner. The cottage is more spacious than what it looks in photographs. Bunk bedroom with good storage was comfortable for smallish adult. Sitting room very comfortable for 6 adults and 2 dogs. Really good having 2 well fitted shower/bathrooms. The cottage comes into its own outside with rolling countryside and a walker’s paradise from the front and back doors. Evenings spent watching the moon rise with a glass of wine (courtesy of welcome pack) in hand from summerhouse and mornings walking the dogs in the field outside the door watching sun rise over the hill other side of the valley. Welcome pack full of goodies, Jayne is an excellent host with so much local knowledge. Large supermarkets within a few minutes’ drive and also local farm shops. This is not a location we would normally have chosen for vacation but what a gem of a find. Already pencilled in next year’s visit.
