Although there are no hotels in Taesu-gol itself, there are 5 options within 30 kilometres.

The larger South Chungcheong region is definitely well worth visiting too. Check out the old towns in South Chungcheong, or admire the area's lovely beaches, coastal plains, forests and rivers. Active visitors may also go mountain climbing.

If you want to check out some nearby cities, think about Hanjimi and Morae-ri. Head 30 kilometres to the north from Taesu-gol and you'll find Hanjimi. The front desk staff really went above and beyond to make my stay special, and we're so extremely friendly, considerate, and always cheerful. I've been in Korea for 6 weeks, in 5 different cities with stays in 11 different places, and the staff at the Hotel Wooyeon Flora are the absolute best customer service team I've encountered here.
