I had a good week's stay at this hotel, but having stayed in a few other hotels in the area, I cannot rate it as good value. I stayed at an exec suite, which gives you a larger space, windows and a nice standing bathtub but there were still several things missing for a hotel charging as much for a room. Room service/cleaning needs to be requested at least a day in advance, which, for someone with unpredictable areas for me meant I didn't get my room done in a week. You can, however, bring towels to exchange at reception, which was a lifesaver. No toiletries are provided, but there is shampoo, etc, in the shower, which was still inconvenient for washing my hands as it's behind a glass door and hard to reach. There was a fridge but no safe(!) and a small desk and TV. There is a fairly empty area where I'd suggest a small sofa or armchair should be fit given the room rate. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. You do get some free snacks but given the cost I'd say this isn't something important, and you're next door to a Family Mart open 24/7 anyway. The staff at this hotel were always very helpful and friendly.

Great place to stay with a good location too. Free community area with snacks 24 hrs which is a nice feature. Was unable to secure an Iron on one occasion but got it on another. Toiletries are also not included save for soaps in the shower and toilet paper.

Cola (front desk concierge) was amazing and accommodating! Helped us switch rooms because our first room didnt have bathroom doors. Hotel also provides breakfast and bottled drinks free of charge. If i come back to taipei, will stay at this or another roaders hotel

Firstly, I want to apologize to Roaders for a mistaken first impression during check in. I had booked an "Executive Suite" and had a false impression that I was downgraded to a lesser room, to the point that I immediately wrote a bad review about my check in process to Expedia. I named "Cola" as the desk person who checked me in. The next day, another desk agent, "Ice" very patiently and cordially explained to me that the room I had been given was architecturally the exact same room that I had been promised, only it was a mirror image of the suite that had appeared in Expedia's reservation pictures. I was very satisfied by her explanation and was a bit embarrassed that I hadn't realized my oversight. At that time I attempted to amend my poor review on Expedia, but was denied access, being told that the review was no longer accessible. Thus I'm writing this as my personal apology to Roaders as they were incredible in their service. That said, their air conditioning is superb and very easy to adjust. Their free snacks also a great service. People never talk about this, but the water pressure in the shower is magnificent. I've been to other hotels where there are water regulators inserted into the shower heads to limit flow and that makes a shower feel weak. The shower in Roaders is superior. There is also a soak tub but I never had any use for those things. A very nice experience at moderate price. Thank you, Roaders, and yes, I would return without hesitation. Cheers!

The hotel is very cute. The main lobby which is in the basement is basically a big game room with lots of Americana themed decoration (Route 66 signs, cowboy stuff, American license plates, etc). The staff is friendly and helpful. The free ramen, snack, popsicles and drinks is awesome. The rooms however are tiny but clean. They provide FREE laundry which was huge especially since we had already been traveling for a week and had plenty of laundry to do. The hotel could use a renovation in some parts. But overall the facility and its staff are great. What I didn’t like was its distance from the train station. It was a bit of a trek. I did appreciate being on the periphery of Ximending though.

This a wonderful place to stay at when visiting Taipei. It is located next to a MRT station exit and near Xiamen night market district. You can find places to dine in or to shop at day and night in Xiamen. The MRT Bannon Line will take you to just about any place you want to go in Taipei. The facilities were modern and quiet. The staff is wonderful. They are extremely helpful and that is what makes the stay so comforting. The lobby hang out area is well stocked with snacks and refreshments, just a relaxing place to rest after spending a day in Taipei.

Conveniently located at the periphery of Ximending. Walking distance to Taipei Main Station (further) and Ximen Station (nearer). Property is well furnished with free-flow cup noodles and drinks! Room is small but perfectly adequate for the stay. Would recommend!
