We were evacuating last minute from Hurricane Milton. Price was exorbitant for one night $340 tax $26 to park. When asked if this is the normal price, the woman working the desk said ā€œWelllllll itā€™s really busy so yes, the price does go up for football games and stormsā€ This is called PRICE GOUGING and it is illegal during storm evacuations. On top of it, the entire property has a musty smell, and the floors were slimy. Personally, I canā€™t wait to NOT return to Tallahassee ever again.

Not a good experience
No central AC in hotel, but rather there was a wall unit that makes really loud noises. Security is also non-existent in this hotel. You can get to any floor without a guest room key, and you can even enter from the garage directly to the guest floors without a guest key. There were displaced people in the lobby at checkout at 7am and the staff did not appear concerned. Also, I was there for 3 nights and only received housekeeping service once. The coffee shop is closed, but there is no signage explaining that and the website still advertises a coffee bar serving Starbucks coffee. The restaurant is advertised as open until 10pm, but in fact closes much earlier around 8am.

Check in staff member was short, rude, and abrupt during busy check in time for FSU Family Weekend. Questions I had about valet and the property were ignored but she passively aggressively offered cookies and water instead. A little bit of genuine friendliness or simple courtesy could have gone a long way, given the very dilapidated and old state of the hotel itself. Will not stay here again.

This hotel needs a complete clean and overhaul. The ceiling was peeling in my bathroom, the temperature was either freezing or hot, the carpet felt damp. The furniture is very worn.

The bathroom needs bleach in the shower. Lots of mold. The toilet needs to be tightened. It was so loose I thought it was going to tip over. The little cafe they had was never opened when we were there and it would have been nice to get a cup of coffee or a sandwich or danish. The restaurant was only serving a Buffett breakfast which was too much food for me. Couldnā€™t order off the menu.
