Best hotel less than a mile from MacDill. Focus on sleep, has a tiny pool (called a spa) small functional gym, friendly staff. We thought it all looked clean and that was key.

Every aspect from the check in to check out was smooth and first rate; from the soaps to towels - first rate. The first front desk people at check in, later in the evening and at check out were very friendly and accommodating. This was my second Stay at a Sleep Inn and Suites (previously in Charleston, SC} and both were outstanding experiences. I would recommend Sleep Inn to anyone.

The room smelled so musty . The housekeeper sprayed a floral air freshener to hide the smell I opened the window and left for about 2-3 hours to air room out. When I returned it still smelled horrible and my allergies were in overdrive I went to the nice man at the front desk And asked for a room switch They did not have another room I could not spend the night in the room because I couldn’t breathe So I left and went back to my powerless home The smell was egregious The hotel could not switch my room as they were full I asked for a refund of my stay They refused they would not discuss a partial refund or a credit for future use Booked through Hotels . Com so I could not speak with the hotel I paid for the travel insurance but terrible horrible smelling room no other options so I left Don’t stay here
