We checked in on the Saturday 18th of May. We had a confirmed reservation for my wife, my 12 yo son and myself. When we approached the counter the receptionist said, 'ok, reservation for 2 people.' Straight away i showed my confirmation of reservation for 3 people. He had to call somewhere to confirm then he agreed. 'Ok, all good reservation for 3 people'.
We proceeded to our room 912. 4 levels down from reception. There is no lift and the steps are uneven.
The room had been closed for a number of days as the smell of dampness was evident. immediately we opened the balcony doors and turned the aircon on. the room attendant suggested keeping windows and doors shut as there are plenty of mosquitos.
Anyway, we got changed and headed to the pool. gorgeous on the pictures. The top pool 'Swing pool' small and has 4 different levels in only 1 part of the pool you can swim. However, plenty of broken tiles. we even played puzzles with the loose broken tiles. the other pool at the bottom 2 levels down from the swing pool, is extremely cold. we could not get in.
we got back to the room to get changed to go for cocktails at the pool and i realized the extra bed had not been delivered. we changed and went to the bar, asked for 2 cocktails and a mocktail. halfway through the cocktail, i asked the bar attendant to check on our extra bed which had not been delivered. Bar attendant called the reception and said that 'i had not paid for the extra person's booking and if i wanted an extra bed i
