We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was authentic Taos and park like. Our room was large and comfortable with a fireplace… perfect for those chilly nights. The breakfasts were incredible with lots of choices. And they often offered a delicious spicy stew at their happy hour along with chips and salsa.

Great example of a very functional old school road motel. Think Route 66 but with an awesome free breakfast that satisfies most everyone. Aaaaaaand cookies in the afternoon evening for checking in.

This was our second stay here, and as usual the breakfast and staff were excellent! Our room was spacious, and had a fireplace which was cozy, but these Fl people had trouble actually building a decent fire! The only real negative we had was that the pillows were super flat, however when we asked for more, they quickly responded, and we were able to stack them to our liking.We also had some noisy neighbors early one morning to the point where we could actually hear them talking through the walls. Other than that we would recommend, and will stay there again if we visit.

The staff was excellent and very friendly. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had a a hotel or lodge. Loved the kiva fireplace in the room.

Nice property. Reserved 3 days (fri,sat,sun) Had family emergency and had to leave sat 2 pm to return back home in Texas. Would not give refund for Sunday because I booked through Expedia. Expedia would not give refund. Will NOT use Expedia in future. Will reserve bookings directly.

I didn't have high expectations for a motel, but we found El Pueblo Lodge to be comfortable, convenient and enjoyed the spacious room and daily breakfast. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Taos.

Everything about El Pueblo Lodge itself was great: very nice room, warm and helpful staff, very nice hot breakfast. The street in front and all the way through town is under construction and makes getting around a little tricky; with patience, we soon figured it out.

Old property. Old furniture. Bugs in room - maybe from local construction ? Firewood not dried so no ambiance of fireplace that we thought we would have. Overpriced. Very unhappy with our stay - would never return. Reached out to management with no response - very disappointed. I tried, so sorry to say here’s my honest review. Buyer beware - expensive and misleading… I would not stay here ever again!

My stay at El Pueblo Lodge was perfect. They have the friendliest staff and Gloria in the kitchen in the mornings is so welcoming and friendly. She makes the day start out great!

This is a very quaint older motel with a true feel of New Mexico. We stayed in the king suite with a fireplace. The staff was attentive. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. The morning southwest breakfast is included and delicious. The two people who prepare the breakfast are wonderful. The ground of the motel are great and in warmer weather would be an ideal place to hang out. Though there is construction on the main road at the location of the motel it was still easy to get in/out. The location is great and Historic Taos is within walkable distance with shops and restaurants along the way. It is a shor drive to the Taos Pueblo which is well worth the visit.

This was a quaint, older lodge/motel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, great recommendations on food. Loved our wood fireplace in our room. Would stay again if opportunity comes up
