An excellent venue far from the madding crowd!
While a very comfortable typically Spanish rustic venue with lovely views of the sea we could have done with air conditioning, or at least another fan for the second bedroom. We soon realised we had chosen an excellent venue as the closest beach, within walking distance, was not overcrowded by any means and was dog friendly. Everywhere we visited further north up the coast was a heaving mass of humanity so we didn't stay longer than post a card! An entertaining drive through a huge sand-dune and bumpy road to get to the property but very easy to find. Close by, in walking distance, was an excellent restaurant and a bar restaurant. Very good shopping amenities in Terifa, but go early. An excellent find for August.

Very enjoyable stay
The property has great views over the Atlantic Ocean. It is close to two great beeches both within walking distance. It is well located for trips t Cádiz, Tarifa, Vieja de La Frontera and at stretch Ronda. We had a lovely time here.

Localización perfecta y casa con encanto
La casa es sencilla pero tiene lo necesario para una agradable estancia y está decorada con mucho gusto. La terraza es una delicia. La casa es la mitad de una casa más grande dividida en dos partes. El nivel de tranquilidad depende en gran medida de los otros inquilinos. La propietaria estuvo pendiente de todo y nos facilitó la entrada y salida. En general muy recomendable.

Traumhafte Aussicht und Lage
Wir kamen mit Wohnmobil im Garten genügend Platz geschafft sehr netter Vermieter das kleine angebaute Häuschen völlig ausreichend mit einem drin was man braucht nicht zu viele nicht zu wenig vor allen Dingen tipptopp sauber liegt direkt am Camino sehr schön zum Radfahren hierher würden wir noch mal wiederkommen noch mal vielen Dank an Gabi für den netten Aufenthalt

Abgelegen mit achtsamer Ausstattung
Ein sehr unaufdringlicher aber hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der nebenan wohnt. Ruhige Lage. Praktisch eingerichtete kleine Wohnung. Schöne Blicke in Richtung Marokko mit Blick auf den Schiffsverkehr der Straße von Gibraltar (Fernglas vorhanden). Abgelegener Strand in zehn Minuten Entfernung. Wunderbarer Wanderweg durch den Pinienwald nach Bolonia. Achtung Kostenfalle, Handy lockt sich ins Netz von Marokko ein. WLAN funktioniert gut!

Un lugar tranquilo
Nuestra estancia ha sido tal y como queríamos. Una acogida estupenda del propietario que es una persona muy cercana. La casa está muy bien, limpia y cómoda y el sitio es excepcional, al lado de la playa, se pueden hacer rutas andando o en bicicleta y hay un par de restaurantes cercas. Lo mejor, sin duda, ha sido que no hay nada de ruido porque no pasan coches. Muy recomendable.

Wären gerne noch länger geblieben
Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Wunderbare, sehr ruhige Lage mit Blick auf die Straße von Gibraltar und nach Afrika. Überdachte Terrasse spendet Schatten bei großer Hitze. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Obwohl wir kaum spanisch sprechen, klappte die Verständigung mit ein paar Brocken englisch und deutsch und mit Händen und Füßen ganz gut. Direkt neben der Ferienwohnung ein nettes Fischrestaurant, welches auch durchweg gut besucht war. Interessant zu sehen, wie die zumeist spanischen Familien hier gespeist haben. Auch ein paar skurrile Gäste konnten wir bestaunen. Herrlich. Ausgedehnte Wanderungen direkt ab Ferienwohnung haben wir gemacht. Tolle Wege, kaum Begegnungen mit anderen Wanderern. Da es hier früher eine militärische Zone war, findet man hin und wieder zerfallene Gebäude. Sehenswert, wenn auch ein wenig bedrückend war die große Kanone oben auf dem Bergplateau. Damit wurde früher wohl die Straße von Gibraltar kontrolliert. Der Strand war fußläufig zu erreichen. Keine 10 Minuten und man hatte einen sauberen Strand oft für sich allein. Also Klamotten ausgezogen und nackt in der Sonne gelegen. Ab und zu waren noch andere Badegäste dort. Aber der Strand ist groß genug für alle. In der Wohnung selbst war alles vorhanden, um sich selbst zu verpflegen. Haben wir auch gemacht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt's im ca. 11 km entfernten Tarifa. Somit ist es ratsam, motorisiert anzureisen. Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal wiederkommen.

INOLVIDABLE
Fuimos mi familia y nuestro perro y nunca olvidaré este sitio, era increíble. Nunca imaginaria que pudiera estar en campo y playa a la vez. Con los dueños de la casa el trato súper bien también. Lo recomiendo 100%. Esta tarifa a 10 minutos en coche y hay comercios y supermercados.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in traumhafter Umgebung
Angenehm und ausreichend dimensioniert (ca. 40qm), etwas abseitig gelegen und über eine buckelige Straße (die als solche kaum zu bezeichnen ist) zu erreichen, ist das Appartement der Familie de la Luz ein stilles und wunderbar abgeschiedenes Örtchen, um sich - weit entfernt vom Trubel dieser Welt - zu erholen. Ca. 500m bis zum wunderbar leeren Sandstrand, geprägt vom kargen und felsigen Charakter der Landschaft Süd-Andalusiens, kann man dort kilometerlang am Strand entlang wandern und den wunderbaren Blick auf die Meerenge von Gibraltar, Marocco und den Atlantik genießen. Lebensmittel kauft man im nahen Tarifa ein, Wasser ist v.a. immer ein Problem und - wie bei allen Südeuropäern - nur in PET-Flaschen-Verbünden verfügbar, die man dann selbst entsorgen muss: Müll - wie überall in Südeuropa auch in Andalusien - ein Problem, da jeder kleine Knopf in Plastik eingepackt ist, jeder seinen Müll selbst entsorgt (es gibt keine zentrale Müllentsorgung) und dies an den Sammelstellen (von der Wohnung entfernt ca. 1,5 km) ziemlich eklig sein kann. Die Wohnung selbst ist spar -und genügsam eingerichtet, alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs, auch zum Kochen (mit Gas) sind vorhanden, die Matrazen gut, das Bad ausreichend groß. Nachts stören die vielen kläffenden Hunde etwas, die bei jeder Maus anschlagen, aber ansonsten ist es ruhig und man schläft sehr gut bei der Brandung des Atlantiks. Familie de la Luz ist eine großartige Gastgeber-Familie, stets bemüht, in jeder Lebenslage zu helfen. Maria de la Luz eine wunderbar warmherzige und freundliche Frau, ihr Mann, Gariel, ein freundlicher Mann, der gerne etwas über das Klima und die Winde der Gegend zu erzählen hat. In der Nähe gibt es ein ausgesuchtes nettes Fisch-Restaurant, wo man fangfrische Fische auswählen und sich zubereiten lassen kann - ein toller Service. Bis Tarifa fährt man aber nur 20 min., d.h. auch dort kann fantastisch essen, die spanische Liebenswürdigkeit und den Charakter der Menschen genießen. Insgesamt ein rundum empfehlenswerter Ort - wir kommen jedenfalls gerne wieder.

Wonderful stay in Punta Paloma
We had a wonderful experience in Punta Paloma, Tarifa. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts who were available and very communicative throughout our stay. The house was just as expected with a wonderful terrace with ocean views. The neighborhood was quiet in winter but has a very relaxed atmosphere and is great for outdoor lovers. Tarifa is ~20 min by car. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay for relaxed holidays
The apartment is quite spacious, super clean, well arranged and well equipped. Above all, the location is great for nature lovers like us with amazing views of the sea, sunsets and desert beaches within a 10 min walk and plenty of hiking options around. Tarifa downtown is 15 min by car so also close. Luz is a very nice and helpful owner so that also largely contributes to a great experience!

Tolle Lage - empfehlenswert
Wir hatten zu zweit einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig mit einem tollen Blick auf den Atlantik. Trotz der Abgeschiedenheit ist man mit dem Auto schnell in Tarifa zum Einkaufen oder in Bolonia mit dem wunderschönen Sandstrand. Der Strand unterhalb der Unterkunft ist steinig und daher nicht unbedingt zum Baden geeignet, aber wir waren dort oft zum Sonnenuntergang. Das Apartment hat alles, was man braucht, ist aber doch recht klein. Für zwei Personen absolut in Ordnung, zu viert wäre es uns aber zu eng. Zudem gibt eine zweite Wohnung direkt daneben, die nur durch einen Sichtschutz abgetrennt ist. Das WLAN ist aufgrund der Abgeschiedenheit nicht sehr schnell und fiel manchmal ganz aus. Auch war der Parkplatz recht eng und man musste beim Ein- und Ausparken sehr vorsichtig sein. Abgesehen davon war es aber wirklich wunderschön und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Hemos disfrutado de una semana en la casa de Luz, con nuestra perrita Kaila (que por cierto agradecer a Luz que no cobre la estancia de los perros). Podemos decir que los tres hemos estado de lujo. Hochzeit in Tarifa
Wir kamen nachts an und hatten ein kleines Problem mit der Durchfahrt zum Haus, da dort eine große Düne in der Nähe ist, und der Sand lag auf der Straße. Um 1:00 Uhr nachts haben unsere wunderbaren Vermieter uns an einem in der Nähe gelegenen vereinbarten Platz aufgegabelt und am nächsten Morgen auch wieder dorthin gefahren um das Auto abzuholen. Es war ein sehr heimeliger Ort mit wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer. Sehr sauber und idyllisch. Sehr liebe vermieter, die immer ansprechbar waren, auch im Vorfeld. Vielen Dank Luz und deinem Mann😎
