Lovely taste of Portugal
Had a lovely stay in Cabanas in this traditional Portuguese house in a small town. Everything was within walking distance. Close to the boardwalk and ferry across Ria Formosa lagoon to the beach. Two wonderful terraces. Nicely decorated with artistic touches. We had a few issues that required us to contact the owner who responded immediately. Would recommend to others!

Great stay
I highly recommend this property and this host. It is an idyllic location, the house is full of charm and really lovely neighbourhood. Excellent local restaurants, especially fish restaurants, and lovely fresh fruit, vegetable and fish market daily. It's the perfect spot for those who love the sea. Our host, José, was really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Very authentic house
The house was cosy and quaint. Well resourced. Everything you could possibly think of was provided . Beautiful roof terraces. Near the sea . Please note the nearest train station is cabanas de Tavira . Not Tavira . Tavira itself is only a 4 minutes train ride . Fabulous holiday !!

A lovely house in the heart of Cabanas
A house with rustic charm in the heart of Cabanas. Communication with the owner Jose was quick and easy and he answered the numerous questions promptly. Jose picked us up from the bus stop and showed us round the property and gave us the information required to make our stay comfortable. The house was well equipped and fulfilled all the requirements of a holiday let. We spent most of our time in the private terrace which was ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine. The hose is close to all amenities including public transport, numerous restaurants (Coral and Ideal were our favourites), the beach and shopping. We had a lovely two weeks staying in Cabanas and will return in the future. Thank You Jose! Alison & Ray Fernando

Beautiful traditional Portugese property
Our stay was perfect from the moment we arrived and were met by Maria and Jose. They talked us through everything we needed to know, and they were only a phone call away for any problems which may arise, which was reassuring, but of course there were no problems. The roof terrace is a really beautiful place to relax and on the evening a lovely place to sit, drink and take in the stars. Will certainly recommend it to family and friends.

Cabanas luxury and charm combined
This lovely house is absolutely charming, full of character and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need and then more. Bedding and towels all pristine and matching colours and such a treat that everything looked as good as the photos, if not better. Plenty of throws provided, in case the evenings were chilly, and beach towels also. The kitchen was so well equipped with good quality pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, no end of gadgets, tea towels etc ,just don't know how it was all fitted in. Lovely sunny roof terraces and BBQ area. Superb location, two minute walk to the seafront and boardwalk and numerous bars, cafe's, restaurants, shops all within walking distance where you can buy everything you need so no car necessary. Recommend buying all fruit, veg, fish in the local market where you can pick what you want and all such a good price together with high quality fresh meat, cut to order, from the butcher just around the corner. The beach is beautiful and fun to get to by water taxi. The owners met us on arrival and were really friendly and showed us around and said any problems, just call. Needless to say we didn't have any apart from not wanting to leave. This is the best property we have ever stayed in in Cabanas and thoroughly recommend it. Looking forward to that glass of wine next time we are over ! Col and Jan

En famille à Cabanas
Un excellent séjour dans la jolie maison portugaise de José. Très bon emplacement, de la place pour tout le monde. Un coin pour chaque moment de la journée ( terrasse, salon, cuisine, chambre). Le village de Cabanas est resté authentique et les environs offrent une belle variété de paysages et d’activités. Bref, un très bon moment en famille.

Erholung an der Algarve
Wir haben zwei schöne Urlaubswochen in Cabanas de Tavira erlebt. Die Wohnung ist sehr empfehlenswert, obwohl ein paar Kleinigkeiten (z.B der Duschvorhang muss erneuert werden) zu beanstanden waren. Die Dachterrasse ist wunderschön und wir haben jeden Tag hier begonnen und beendet. Cabanas ist ein schöner Ort und es gibt viele Restaurants und Geschäfte, Bäcker, Fleischer, Spar... alles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Parkplatz für das Auto war selten vor der Haustür, aber wenn man ein paar Minuten Fußweg in kauf nimmt, war immer etwas zu bekommen. Der Vermieter wohnte in Sevilla und ist bei Problemen telefonisch erreichbar. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und würden jederzeit diese Unterkunft weiter empfehlen. Wir sind dankbar für einen schönen Urlaub an der Algarve!

La maison de José est très agréable, jolie et grande terrasse mais qui n est pas au niveau de la cuisine, cependant il y a la possibilité de faire un barbecue. Idéalement située en plein centre de Cabanas, à 2 pas des commerces, restaurants et de la superbe promenade le long de la lagune. L accès à la magnifique plage se fait par des bateaux taxis, 1,50 € la traversée aller-retour et à peine 10 mn à pied de la maison. On a adoré Cabanas de Tavira et la région. José est un hôte réactif, très serviable et sympathique.

Perfektes Feriendomizil!
Ein liebevoll und individuell eingerichtetes Familienhaus mitten im alten Zentrum von Cabanas de Tavira. Aussendusche und Dacheterrassen mit Aussenküche vervollkommenen die Ferienatmosphäre. Die ganze Familie fühlte sich trotz Hitze wohl und herzlich willkommen. Der Empfang und Schlüsselübergabe waren sehr herzlich und persönlich durch den Vermieter. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Super charming house
This house in Cabanas de Tavita is verden charming. The rooftop terrassen with view to Rolfs, the blue sky, the water og the willows, the outdoor bath, which was the only one we used, everything is nearby. We can only recommend it.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in dörflicher Umgebung
Dies ist ein geräumiges, im portugiesischen Stil und ganz komplett ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in dörflicher Umgebung, nur wenige Schritte bis zur Lagune und in Laufweite von allem, was man sonst noch braucht: eine große Auswahl an Restaurants, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, eine hervorragende Metzgerei, Fischladen, etc. Hier gibt es keine aufdringlichen Touristen-Läden, sondern ein intaktes Dorfleben. Die Häuser sind aneinander angrenzend gebaut, es gibt überall Dachgärten und Sonnenterrassen, so auch hier! Der Vermieter ist freundlich, spricht sehr gut englisch, hat uns mit allen Infos vorher versorgt und erwartete uns nach telefonischem Kontakt von unterwegs bereits auf der Straße. Ansonsten ließ er uns in Ruhe. Alles unkompliziert und entgegenkommend! Wir waren sehr gerne hier!

Casa muito bem decorada mantendo a traça típica das casas algarvias . Muito funcional e com óptima localização . O chuveiro exterior e o terraço para churrasco e refeição são muito bons . A casa está A um passo da marginal e do acesso à praia, da padaria e talho. Ideal para 4/5 pessoas e para umas férias relaxadas. Check in sem complicações e com simpatia. Gostámos muito e devemos voltar !
