The lingering problem about the hotel is not being able to control the temperature in the room. We tried to cool down the room, but was not successful. This problem would definitely make me hesitate to stay at this hotel again considering we visit Chicago a few times a year. We mentioned this to the staff at the front desk and was told that due to the changing of the seasons, the AC/heat can not adjust to our needs at this time.

It was okay
Location was perfect walking distance to just about anything you’d want. Room was very clean, with an excellent view of the north river. I’m rating it just “okay” because there’s hardly any privacy in the room. The walls obviously have no insulation—you could hear your neighbor, and any light talk in the hallway. Same for inside the room—I hope you’re comfortable with your partner because there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and again, you could hear everything while your partner was in the bathroom and you’re laying in bed. Parking was off sight, a few blocks away…not a big deal because there’s plenty of shopping along the way, but bundle up because it’ll get cold if you’re visiting in the winter months. I didn’t see any lounge areas, or restaurant within the hotel…maybe it’s on a floor that I wasn’t told about. I thought the description said there was but again, I didnt look around. Overall it was a good stay, but I’ll look at other places to stay next time we make a trip

1. The location was excellent for our purposes. 2. When we arrived @ 9:45 AM, expecting to leave our luggage until the 3:00 PM check in, the desk clerk gave us our room immediately. 3. We were given a room with a river view at no extra charge. 4. We stopped at the front desk for coffee pods and creamers and were given a cupful on the spot. 5. There was a cupboard on our floor stocked with items you may have forgotten like a toothbrush, shaving cream, combs etc. Very thoughtful. 6. There was never a wait for service at the front desk. My only complaint is that our room came with only one wash cloth and one hand towel.
