Amazing stay
Everything about our stay was wonderful, from the friendly people on reception to the brilliant bar and restaurant staff. The room was exceptionally large with a huge bed to match and so clean. There was a lot of information in the room about the hotel's history and surrounding areas. There wasn't a huge menu to choose from but a good variety within it so we could easily find something to eat. What made that immaterial was the quality of the food and the brilliant cooking of it. The town was very busy but none of the noise could be heard in the hotel. This a great hotel and deserves all the praise.

Had an amazing time, food and staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, every meal we had did not disappoint. I Only had a couple dislikes, being the hard mattresses, flat pillows, and there was just a lot of dust in the heater which made my room smell burnt. Hairdryer needs a good cleaning too. Besides those things, the stay was pretty good.

We only spent 1 night in the hotel but we will book again when next visiting family in Lincolnshire. We booked a brunch. . The staff were friendly and professional and the food delicious. Thanks to everyone for making our stay memorable

Great hotel with a really relaxing feel
Booked 2 rooms for a 1 night stay for work purposes. Nice big car park on arrival so no problem in getting parked. Check in was quick & efficient, room was a good size & comfortable. Ensuite bath was on rhe small size for me but had the option of a shower anyway. Didnt eat in the hotel however the menu did look good & reasonably priced. Would happily stay here again should i be working in the area.

Great venue, nice big room, lovely breakfast well worth the extra £12.50. The room was great value and my only tiny niggle was the creaky floorboards in our room and others close by. But it’s an old building so probably why.

Welcoming staff, beautiful food, comfortable and clean room Room was quite small, very noisy, pub opposite kicking off and was close to the very busy road, made worse as room was so hot we needed the window open all night no air con which made the noise more unbearable!
