We enjoyed our lovely, quiet room. It was very clean. We were welcomed by friendly staff who advised us on dining and sightseeing options. The private garden in back of the hotel is a lovely place to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. Parking is off-street but it is limited. There is no lift, so some people may have problems with stairs.

Was. It impressed that even though we booked weeks ahead we were given a basement room. I am guessing because if you ask for a different room they will charge you $50. You could not open the blinds as the people walking on the sidewalk could see in and there was a permanent smell of moult since you could never open the windows in the basement. Also never saw a smallest TV must have been a 27” in a relatively sizeable room

Overall this place was nice. You can’t beat the location. It’s extremely walkable to the harbour and a lot of great restaurants. When you get there, park out front and then go in to check-in. You will be given a parking pass to their lot behind the building. We got one of the last rooms available which was just a double bed. For 2 people the room was just too small. Barely enough room to open a suitcase. Not really the fault of the hotel, just something to note. There is a jazz bar located behind the hotel. It was very loud Sunday night. The staff was very friendly. The place is very clean. We didn’t eat at their restaurant so I can’t comment on that.

Lovely heritage building. Rooms spread over 3 adjacent locations. Fair number of stairs and parking can be tight. Lucky enough to get a main floor room as have some mobility issues. Great location 2 blocks north of wharf and close to Pier 21
