Everything was great. Staff was very nice. Room was spacious with good storage and a very modern bathroom (bidet!). Minimal downsides: bed/pillows not great and while I understand the Spanish culture of later meals, being an airport hotel, I feel food accommodations should be better to cater to travelers.

For an overnight stay close to Madrid airport, this hotel is fine. However, there are no restaurants nearby except for the one inside the hotel. So you are a captive audience for food unless you are willing to take a taxi or Uber ride. We chose to go to the Plenilunio shopping mall a few miles away with many restaurant choices.

Airport shuttle very late. Upon check-in, we were asked what time we needed to ARRIVE at the airport. We said 10 am. We were in the lobby by 9:30 am. The shuttle did not leave until 10:05 am. Then it stopped at a rental car property (why?) after being stuck in morning highway traffic. We ARRIVED to the terminal at 10:35 am. For an international flight this is very stressful. I do not recommend staying here for an international airport departure.

This was a very convenient location to get to/from the airport easily. Welcoming staff and we were able to access our room upon arrival, before standard check in, which was much appreciated after an overnight flight.

This is a perfect hotel if you are just looking for a place to stay the night before you fly out of Madrid. It has a great free shuttle and the hotel is very nice. On the downside, there is really nothing around and getting central Madrid is not particularly easy (you have to take a public bus and then walk to a metro station.
