First of all, if you were trying to get to this property, it is an absolute nightmare with the current road construction conditions. You will have to park a fair bit away so if you are mobility challenged, do not stay there. Secondly, on December 13 at 8:05 AM I heard a noise in my room that sounded like somebody had entered. There was no knock at my door. There was no announcement, and approximately 30 seconds later, a lady was standing over my bed, staring at me. Upon further investigation, this housekeeping staff entered my room had a look through my bathroom opened up my closet and enter the room where I was laying in bed underneath my sheets. I’ve never experienced this before, and after my third night of staying there and probably my seventh day of the year I don’t think I can go back.

Although the construction around the property is less than ideal, I know it’s only temporary. Still, we were able to park nearby with ease and have our parking validated. Also, given that this is a busy city, we never had to walk very far to find something to do.

The staff at the hotel are wonderful. The room is dated. We had a window that wouldn’t shut tight. Repair man came right away to fix it. But the room was cold and despite putting the heat on blasting all night, we had to call for blanket.. which was challenging because the phone didn’t work properly. We had no dial tone and had to use the speaker option. And finally our room keys stopped working. All in all, room was cheap but not likely to stay here again. Beds were comfortable.

The room was clean, quiet, only complaints for the two nights we stayed, the heater was not working properly in the room, blowing cold air, tried adjusting thermostat several times, no change, and there was no garbage bags in the garbage bins in the room.
