It was great for a 1 night stay. Our room was far from elevators and the Parking is inconvenient but overall we are satisfied Construction means planning your route, and indoor pedway from Scotia square is hot!!

The downtown location was very convenient for the activities we had planned, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, including the ferry over to Dartmouth. The rooms are a little dated but we’re clean and the staff were great.

The housekeeping policy is ridiculous. My family stayed for 3 nights and not once did housekeeping enter the room. I have stayed in tons of hotels and motels in my lifetime and housekeeping cleaned the rooms every single day, no matter if it was a 3 star motel on the side of a highway or a 5 star hotel overlooking Niagara Falls. The pool area was disgusting. There was water all over the floors with dirty shoe prints and barely any towels. The elevators were not working properly and took forever. I would not recommend this hotel or would I ever return. I would not recommend this hotel or would I return.

The staff were friendly and location was good...BUT the room was dank, carpets were dirty and not well kept, the "business center" was a couple of desks and lots of chairs in the lobby. In other words, it's a lobby. Clearly, a blatant misrepresentation of what a "business center" is expected to be. I booked the hotel thinking I could do ZOOM meetings from the business center, but it was not possible because it was full of students waiting for a bus. The hotel used to have a proper business center, therefore, in good faith, should change its website.

It would of been beneficial to know of the construction and limited access to the hotel prior to booking and not a couple days before arriving It made things confusing and thankfully we had no one with serious mobility issues or they would not of been able to walk the distance to get in and out to access the harbour

Hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Carpets were stained and grungy, peeling wallpaper, cracked sink, etc. elevators were very slow and old (and only 2 were working, and clearly not sufficient for such a big hotel). Staff were very impersonal. It was unfortunate that there was a large construction project making it very difficult to get in and out of the hotel, but they did not do anything to acknowledge the inconvenience to their guests. Bathroom in our room was exceptionally tiny for this type of hotel. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable.
