Perched on a hillside Villa Alle Querce is a charming, restored stone country property commanding stunning distant views towards the beautiful hilltop town of Todi. Alle Querce is reached via a leafy dirt road climbing upwards and is set against a magnificent backdrop of oak forest, its seclusion providing relaxed and peaceful surroundings . A shaded pergola, overlooking the lawned areas of the garden and large swimming pool, provides a pleasant setting for eating out of doors. The terrace is equipped with its’ own outdoor oven, hob and barbecue area, making alfresco dining a real pleasure. The private gardens are ideal for families and couples alike, with plenty of space and a large pool (17 x 4.5 m.) which is visible from the shaded terrace.
The garden is a profusion of rosemary, lavender and roses surrounded by olive trees, cypresses and oaks. The house is comfortably furnished reflecting the taste of the owner and thoroughly in keeping with the farmhouse aspect of the property.
Todi, is 5 km from the house . The towns of Perugia and Orvieto are both about 30-40 minutes drive, Assisi 45 minutes, Spoleto may be reached in about 50 minutes. The Umbria countryside is the very heart of Italy. An intense calendar of artistic (like Umbria Jazz Festival every July), cultural and enogastronomic events can be experienced in summer time.

The Farmhouse has 5 bedrooms : 3 doubles (two with en suite) 1 twin bedroom and 1 single. In addition there are 2 family bathrooms . There is a kitchen inside and the terrace is equipped with outdoor oven, hob and barbeque.
The house has two floors. The ground floor entrance opens on to a large, bright living room: on one side the lounge with sofas, fireplace, on the other side, the dining area connected to the kitchen. The ground floor is an open plan with French windows along one side of the house looking out over to Todi, and has been cleverly separated into various seating areas that open to the double bedrooms with en suite bathroom located in each wing of the ground floor . A staircase leads up to the top floor, consisting of a loft area with the study and three bedrooms (a double, a twin, a single) . The twin is suitable for children and if necessary there is also a cot.
Near the pool there is a swing and the games room on the lower ground floor with a table tennis and table football creates another space to enjoy for the children.
Dishwasher, washing machine , satellite TV (sky) and DVD , internet wifi, hairdryers.
Accessed from the garden in the lower ground floor is a laundry room with shower/wc and games room.

Maid service 3 times weekly is included in the price. The maid can provide meals on request. Linens and towels provided.

Wonderful property near Todi
We have rented many properties in Umbria over the years and this must rate as the best. Extremely well equipped and perfect location near Todi, Perugia and Oviedo. Lots of lounge areas to relax in and a great swimming pool. We did not meet Sergio unfortunately as our family’s flight was delayed but he was keen to ensure we had a good time. He left a large basket of goodies which was very much appreciated. I would very much recommend the property.

Wonderful Villa Alle Querche
We had the most wonderful stay. The villa is situated in a quiet location with the most stunning views of Todi. The accomodation is very comfortable and charming. The pool is fantastic and always spotlessly clean. The owner was most thoughtful, kind and attentive as was the maid. The dinners cooked by the maid were generous and delicious. We just loved our stay! Thank you!

Great place

Beautiful, quiet spot. We loved it!
We loved Sergio’s place - the ever changing views of the valley and Todi, the pool, the quiet. Everything! The house is well appointed and had all anyone could need. The photos do not do the inside of the house justice. It was extremely comfortable without being fussy. The kitchen (not pictured) is small, but very efficient and has everything you could need. In addition, Sergio provides a very generous welcome basket of food and wine. It was a wonderful welcome to the villa! He recommended Lorena, the cleaner (2x/ week), as a chef, and she cooked for us one night, which was delicious. The steep driveway is a challenge, but Sergio had met us nearby and showed us the way. We soon got used to gunning it up the hill!

This was our second visit to Sergio’s wonderful house and our memories from the last trip weren’t rose-tinted; the stay this time was just as relaxing. idyllic stay
We enjoyed a fabulous 'home from home' family holiday in a wonderful, totally private villa with a fabulous atmosphere and a wonderful pool. There was a heatwave and the temperature rarely dipped below 35 degrees but with the plentiful fans provided and pool it didn't detract from our enjoyment. Needless to say the surrounding Umbrian countryside and towns are exceptional. A very memorable holiday. Many thanks Sergio, and Lorena.

The house and property were marvelous. Plenty of space for a multi generational family of adults, lovely grounds, spotlessly, clean swimming pool with plenty of seating options poolside. Sergio is an excellent host, very easy to be in touch with and very accommodating. Housekeeping service is great. Location is a dry hood base for visiting many of the hill towns in Umbria. The most wonderful holiday
We have holidayed near Todi before and always wanted to come back to the area, but nothing prepared us for the whole of Todi welcoming us every time we walked out of Villa Alle Querce. Sergio’s house is the most welcoming home in a gorgeous setting. Over the two weeks we were lucky enough to stay, guests ranged from toddlers to grandparents and everyone had the best holiday. The house is very well appointed, the pool is to die for and Sergio (assisted by Lorena and Ilio) was the most generous and helpful of hosts.

AMAZING!
This was a "home from home" property as the owner lives there at certain times of the year. It was extremely well appointed and equipped. The swimming pool was amazing and regularly maintained [every other day] and the cleaner called three times each week. The accommodation was spacious, there was a TV area, a "quiet" area to sit, 5 bedrooms [two en-suite] and a further shower room plus a downstairs bathroom with bath. The grounds well maintained and the views from the front of the house were spectacular day and night. The very steep and long drive up to the house was challenging and mostly unsurfaced. We mastered it in the end! Our host was attentive and very helpful - leaving a massive "welcome pack" for our arrival which we very much appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable holiday in your home.

Hilltop gem with gorgeous views and pool
This is an old Italian farm house with five bedrooms and four(+) bathrooms and laundry in the basement. We stayed two weeks, and it was hard to leave. What a joy and pleasure to have the perfect blend of rustic Italian country life and all the modern amenities and gorgeous lap pool that was a lifesaver in a heat wave. Sergio was only a call away if anything was needed. I didn't expect the housekeeper several times per week and the pool man also. Well cared for and obviously was/is a private home as well as a VRBO rental. The house has soul and character.

Perfection!
From the moment we arrived at the property it was true love! We sadly did not get to meet Sergio since we had trouble getting on the road and left late, but we were greeted by the lovely Lorena who gave us a fantastic welcome to Casa Alle Quercie. The Photos do not do this home justice it was just all so breathtaking and at the same time cozy and quaint. Swimming in pool at night with the scent of jasmine is an experience I will never forget! We did not spend much time there but the time we did was truly memorable everything you need to enjoy your holiday in Umbria. Very quiet and secluded, the road leading up is a little bumpy but worth it. Once you arrive you have a magnificent view of Todi. We loved spending time in Todi as well. We parked at the parking lot near the funicular that took us up to the Piazza and the Duomo and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the bar in the piazza. Such a beautiful little town with so much to discover.. We hope to visit again soon!

Lovely Home with an Amazing View
Our family of four had a wonderful week in this thoughtfully designed and spacious home. I use the word home rather than house because from the shelves full of books and the paintings on the walls to the comfortable couches it's clear this isn't a cookie-cutter rental but a beloved family place. The views are beautiful and the private and peaceful location- just outside lovely Todi- is a great central location for exploring Umbria. Still Love it!
Our second year here, and we loved it just as much, if not more than our first trip here. Lorena & Sergio could not be more accommodating and lovely to us (even when we had an accident and broke something - so sorrrrry). A lovely meal was awaiting us on arrival after a long drive from the UK - just such a treat. We were in the pool constantly, reading in shady corners, hiding from the afternoon storms, and watching the lightning from the big glass doors - and of course eating figs constantly as they're in abundance this year! BBQ and kitchen outdoor again used almost daily. Thank you again!

Stunning views, peaceful and welcoming
We had a wonderful week and wished we could have stayed for much longer. The house has beautiful views over Todi and is equipped with everything we could possibly need for the whole family, including the lovely private pool, outside sitting/eating areas, comfortable bedrooms (with fans) and plenty of bathrooms. Wonderful house!
Not the first time we’ve stayed close to Todi, however this was by far the best house we’ve stayed in. From the start, Sergio the owner communicated really well and the house service provided by Lorena during our stay was excellent. Very peacefull location, with a great view over to Todi and a welcoming swimming pool to cool of in.

stunning and authentic Italian property
On Arrival we were welcomed and shown around this enchanting property. It has views which are breathtaking.The ammienties are of an excellent standard, clean and Tidy. A huge basket of authentic local produce awaited us ,which meant that the very first Evening we could wine and dine under the shade of a wisteria over looking the expansive swimming pool and well kept garden . This added to our whole experience with our familie. Every site of Interest is close by so in the morning we went on excursions and returned to wallow and cool in the pool. I highly recommend this property for all italian lovers.

Perfection!
To be honest, I'm a bit wary about singing the praises of the beautiful Villa Alle Querce too much incase it gets so booked up that we may miss out in future! I am a mum, 3 kids under 9, travelling with my Mother, Aunt & hubby travelling in and out - the house is just perfect for a couple of families or several people - so much space so no one is under each other's feet - beautiful bedrooms + FANS! Thank goodness - considering it was 40degrees whilst we were there. The lawn out the back was my middle boy's dream - cricket, skittles, football, races all took place daily - the pool is stunning, so refreshing and very clean. The pergola out the back was home to our daily lunches and dinners with various friends from around the area - perfect for large parties! Especially when our meals are made up of the figs in the garden, and the tomatoes and basil from the veggie patch. I have rented a villa every year for the past decade, amongst the Todi countryside, and can easily say this was my and my children's favourite. Perfectly placed for Todi, the supermarket, our friends and of course the lovely Rosa Dei Venti for a sneaky pizza. I would love to come back and just hope I am organised enough to get in there before anyone else gets in! P.S. Lorena (who helps around the house) and Sergio were wonderfully accommodating. Charming and relaxed. A wonderful house with amazing views of Todi and a fabulous pool and gardens
Arriving from London for a two week holiday we were all over the moon with this house. It is charming and relaxed and very easy to be in. There is a lovely pool and places to sit in both the front and the back. Inside the rooms are cool and there is enough room for all of us. There is a good kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. Outside there is another cooking area with a brilliant BBQ. The house is up a bumpy track which is great fun to drive down. Although we managed one week without a car this meant that we spent the first week at the house as it is quite remote. So a car is needed in order to explore the many towns and cities around the house. Our group ranged in age from 9 to 50 and everyone had a great time. Our welcome was wonderful and we felt incredibly well looked after. Selfishly I don't want to let anyone else know about this fabulous house!

Alweer fantastisch!
We hebben alweer een fantastische vakantie gehad. De ontvangst, het huis zelf maar vooral het uitzicht is zalig. Sergio is een geweldige host. Een auto is wel nodig want het huis ligt redelijk afgelegen maar dat maakt het ook uniek. Kortom: voor herhaling vatbaar!
