The rooms were small as they are with APA but clean and sufficient. The subway station was a 5mins walk. Not a lot happening in that area in terms of entertainment but very clean,quiet and safe.

APA hotel - a safe, comfortable & reliable choice
We loved the APA hotel. I was skeptical as this was my first time in Japan and I had no clue where to start with accommodations. The pictures did not do the building justice, it was modern, elegant, clean. Staff was very friendly and spoke English. Room was very small but comfortable, the interactive hotel TV was a neat touch, and the onsen was one of the best I’ve been in - clean, large, indoor/outdoor, and even with these little single person outdoor hot baths. There was also a WiFi rental box in the hotel which was useful. Breakfast was consistently good every morning, offering a good mix of traditional Japanese options and more western style buffet.

It was very quiet and strange around the property. I think there’s a lot of gov buildings around and so there were a lot of cops and security around on the streets. There is a really beautiful shine and passage behind the building if you exit on the second floor. The room was very tiny. We could change the room air conditioning. Staff leave clean towels and amenities in a bag on your door. Elevators are busy. There’s a free breakfast.

Most public onsen I have looked at online have stated that there is no tattoos allowed; however, when booking this hotel, there were no rules stated about tattoos in the description or the amenities. The room was very nice but very small.. also the hotel is inconveniently located from main areas, but I really wanted to have access to a private onsen. I booked APA Pride because there was no rule stated on hotels.com so I believed it was a private bath for the hotel so l was really excited to have access to a relaxing bath, but when I got to the spa floor, the sign said no tattoos allowed. I went to ask the front desk and they said I can use tattoo sticker covers, but only allow maximum 2, which can only cover 10% of my tattoo. I wasted the reward nights that I redeemed for no reason.

The hotel was clean, amenities were great, the onsen bath was amazing. The security guards were everywhere near the hotel so felt very safe. Access was good. The room was small for the North American standard but there was everything I needed for my stay.

The artificial hot springs are worth the stay.
The artificial hot springs, both indoor and open air, on the 17th floor are lovely. The TV update lets you see how crowded the hot springs are. The room is not spacious but okay in size. The Ginza and Chiyoda metro lines are nearby, so it is convenient to go anywhere. Overall, it is a pleasant stay.

The breakfast is great, offering a wide selection of Japanese and international dishes, a nice dining area with seating options both inside and outside, and welcoming staff. Staff was very friendly and helpful but they need more English speaking employees. Overall I had a great stay they also have a convenience store inside the hotel with everything you might need. They also need more English channels or a smart TV as I was only able to listen to CNN everything else was in Japanese!! The hotel is in the middle of nowhere But they do have free shuttles to bring you to the mall or the train station or to the airport, which was very useful.

The rooms were super small but extremely efficient. For a solo traveler who only requires their hotel room as a home base and place to sleep, this hotel room style was perfect. The bathroom setup was very contained and snug where the appliances and myself just fit into place. The location was very convenient as the subway stations and downtown areas were very close but just outside for the noise to not be an issue during the nights. For the price, I had an amazing time their and would definitely come back to the same location
