The room was clean but cramped. The A/C unit temp in the room is not controllable by the guest as the A/C is centrally controlled. Our room was extremely warm which made sleeping uncomfortable.

My first APA experience was in Takaoka and I’d go back anytime. But this Tokyo one was not very clean. The staff were ok. The area around hotel has too much men oriented nightlife that made me uneasy. I am glad it was just for one night.

I'm disappointed with the limited options for the complimentary breakfast. The only choice was Shijimi Clam Ramen, which is not a typical breakfast item. They shouldn't offer something so unconventional as the sole complimentary option. I'm allergic to seafood and had to skip the breakfast even though I paid for it.

The only true downside was having a single elevator on the property, peak hours around check in and check out had a decent amount of wait time. However what makes up for that is an amazing location near a great cocktail bar and walking distance to the station. The breakfast during my stay was salt or soy sauce Ramen, both of which were fine for the price being an extra charge on my stay.
