Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
I recently stayed at Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan Toronto, and while the location was excellent—close to key attractions and convenient for getting around—the experience fell short in several areas.
Firstly, the interior of the hotel felt less clean and quite worn. The carpets and furniture looked like they could use a deep cleaning or even replacement. It was disappointing to walk into a room that felt tired and not as fresh as one would expect.
The balcony was another letdown. It was dirty, with dust and debris that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in some time. To make matters worse, the design allowed for a direct view into the neighbors' living room, which felt intrusive and uncomfortable.
The bathroom was also problematic. The shower’s drainage was terrible—water pooled at my feet and took a long time to drain, which was both frustrating and unhygienic. On top of that, at night, we could hear the sound of other guests flushing their toilets, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep.
While the location is a major plus, these issues with cleanliness, privacy, and noise significantly detracted from the overall experience. I hope the management addresses these concerns to improve the stay for future guests.
