Facility was dirty , sheets had lots of stains , I had to go buy a sheet and pillow cases. Room door could not clock when leaving room. Room was freezing, staff did not turn heat up when requested to do so. What was advertised through Expedia was totally different walls were dirty with peeling paint , chairs were dirty also .

Room was not cleaned, there were food scraps on the floor. This is one of these hotels that houses social assistance recipients. So the standards are not comparable to a normal hotel, however the building is new and it's ok for a cheap night sleep.

Very noisy throughout the night. Families had their children running around the halls and the common areas smelled of pungent foods. It’s a fine budget hotel for a night near the airport, but wouldn’t stay longer than that.

Contrary to the reviews I saw about this property being under renovation and making their stay uncomfortable, it was the total opposite for my partner and I. There was ample parking space, the room was very clean and modernized, however I would recommend house keeping doing a more in depth cleaning when they make their stops. It would look like it’s their protocol to just come in and dispose of garbage and change towels but I personally would want my room to be cleaned throughout my stay (wipe, sweep and wash bathroom when they come to change towels). Otherwise I was content with staying at the Skye Residence.

The front desk guys were nice and good to deal with but the rest was an absolute disaster. I’ve never been in a building or room that smelled that bad the whole entire trip. Every day we’d go in and the room smelled horrible, like someone vomited or someone was cooking some rotten fish. The house cleaners only cleaned up our room 1 time and all they did was give us new towels, didn’t even make the bed or anything like that for us. There was garbage all over the hallways every day. There was kids running around screaming and playing in the hallways all day and night for some weird reason as well. The bathroom was the only good part of the room, the rest was mediocre at best. Overall this is easily the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I will absolutely not recommend anyone to stay here.

Enjoyable if you’re optimistic so 3/5 stars
There were drawings on the hallway walls. Kids running and screaming everywhere constantly leaving garbage on the hallway floors. The bathroom tap was broken. The shampoo and body wash bottles in the shower were empty and the only small containers they provided were lotion, a bar of soap and more conditioner even through the shower already had conditioner. They blocked off the balcony so it couldn’t be used. There were mysterious white stains on the couch. It had a cool lamp though and the bed was fine so it was usable. Also the microwave and kitchen appliances worked too so the function was there. I originally got this hotel to study for exams so for that purpose I do not recommend unless you’re able to concentrate with kids screaming.

Middle of the road room near Toronto
Family trip for a big concert. The location looked a little sketchy. You will miss the sign if you're not looking for it. The linens were certainly stained. There was no shampoo or shower gel. We asked for towels and shampoo at the desk, but had to as housekeeping when they were not provided. The unit was otherwise clean on our arrival. The beds were comfortable, and overall the room served our purposes.
