So I'd say my biggest problem here, is the breakfast situation. Never Ever, have I ever seen a set up like this before or since. Your food/dinning area are both in the main Lobby, as you check in/out. People just passing in/out. The Hot water for your Tea/Coffee is warm. And the food seemed not so good. And the most disturbing 😳 and disgusting thing is that the people with animals were allowed to bring to the breakfast area. They are allowed to touch and hold their dogs right over the food as they are getting their meal. And they are allowed in the dinning area. This has to be a health issue!!!!!!! I don't know of anywhere .... were this is an allowed practice in an hotel or a place of dinning or around food. The only time this would be allowed, is if it was as service animal. And I assure you this wasn't the case here.

This property should not be listed as a Travelodge. It was formerly a Kingsman Inn and should have had better renovations done to it. The lack of proper cleaning to the rooms and bathrooms was apparent. When we entered the room,we niticed that one curtain wasn’t hung properly at one end. I hooked it back up with no trouble. The window ledges look like they’ve never been cleaned. The sliding window panel wasn’t even on its track and was basically propped against the frame, with no screen present. I had to put it back in place and secure it with the one functioning lock. The bedside table lamp didn’t work. The switch was broken, so it was just unplugged instead! I reported it to the desk. The tv system had no instructions on how to use it, and had two remotes! The desk clerk put us in a room surrounded by a team of youngish rugby players! Some casino had somebody sticking advertising cards under everyone’s doors! We had an unexpected change of plans and had to check out, not before having a power outage. There didn’t seem to be an effective back up lighting system. Unfortunately, booking the room through a third party app, we paid in advance and no refunds were available at all. I’d rather stay in a motel than this place.

Good for a quick, inexpensive night along your route. Rooms are clean and the newly renovated wood flooring is nice. The rest of the room has a dated appearance. The hallway and stairwell carpets are grossly stained but the staff do a good job cleaning the old, outdated hotel as best as possible. No amenities at all. A few mostly empty vending machines. You will need to drive for food unless you want to try the Persian restaurant attached. Breakfast in the am was decent. Boiled eggs, canned baked beans in crockpot, assortment of breads. Oatmeal and cereal. Bananas. Yogurt. Waffle maker station with toppings (this was a huge hit with the kids). No meat. Front desk staff were very helpful. Extra linen delivered to our rooms very quickly upon request.

I recently stayed at the Travelodge by Wyndham in Richmond Hill, Ontario, from August 30 to September 1, and it was a disappointing experience. While the location was convenient, the property had several issues. Part of the hotel was used as a club, with very loud music playing late into the night, making it hard to sleep. The hallways were very dirty, and the beds were noisy and uncomfortable, creaking loudly with every movement. Overall, I would recommend staying elsewhere if you’re looking for a restful stay.

We had so much bugs in the room. The bathroom door was getting locked on us every time we used the bathroom. So, we had to sit on the toilet with the bathroom door being open. Coffee maker didn’t work. Toilet sink was broken. Elevator didn’t work. Won’t be back.
