General Description

Front-line, beautiful Studio apartment, with wonderful sea and mountain views. The property is situated on the second floor and overlooks the promenade and beach, with views of the swimming pool. The studio has easy access onto the promenade and less than a one-minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. It is very light and bright and extremely well equipped providing everything you require for your holiday.

There is a fabulous community swimming pool and children’s pool, gardens and tennis courts for you to enjoy.
The studio is equipped with a high specification air conditioning unit, which both cools and heats, for your comfort. In addition, there is a free-standing fan.

To keep you in touch with home and work or for your entertainment, Wi-Fi is provided free of charge.

There is satellite TV showing many English, Spanish, German and French channels, with a Sony surround sound DVD player, and a blue tooth speaker to link to your phone for listening to music. This affords you the option to have a great night in if you simply want to kick off your shoes and put your feet up.

You will also find a small selection of books and a number of board games for your enjoyment. In addition, there are numerous DVDs to watch.

The studio is less than a 2 minutes' walk to the main bus station and there is ample parking right next to the apartment building for a car. From the bus station you can ride to Torre Del Mar or in the opposite direction to Nerja, or anywhere in between. You are also able to travel into the historical Malaga City very easily.

Next door to the bus station is a taxi rank, and the studio is within a 3 minutes’ walk of the library and tourist office.
There is a mini market in the adjacent building and less than a 5-minute walk to major supermarkets, including Aldi and Lidl.

Detailed description by room

In the main living area, you will find the following: -

A very comfortable sofa and armchair with a matching foot stool and throws on both, two small tables with a lamp.
The air conditioning unit is above the TV and provides heat and cool air throughout the studio. The handset is attached to the right-hand side of the TV cabinet. Here you will also find operating instructions.
A large corner unit houses numerous books and a range of board games. On here you will also find a vanity mirror, four oversized dinner plates with placemats and coasters, and other decorative items. Alongside this unit is a shelf with a fruit bowl and other ornamental objects.
On the TV unit is the satellite box, DVD player and a range of speakers for the surround sound. The handsets can be found on top of the DVD player, and the operating instructions are in the newspaper rack below.
Off the main living area there is the covered terrace, which forms the main dining area and opens up the fabulous views.
The windows fully open to allow fresh sea air to flow in and to enable you to hear the sound of the sea. There are metal shutters fitted to each window, which help control the amount of sun you wish to allow into the studio.

In the bedroom area you will find the following: -

A double bed with mattress and pillows including protectors. There are two bed-side tables with lamps. There is a large wardrobe with plenty of hanging and shelving space. In the corner wardrobe are an ironing board and clothes maid. In the drawers below the wardrobe are pool towels and extra bath towels.
Under the bed is an ideal place to store your empty suitcases.
There is a window onto the terrace area which can be tilted for a comfortable air flow.
There is also a set of curtains to provide a little privacy, should it be needed.


In the kitchen you will find the following: -

A fully equipped kitchen area including a large free standing fridge freezer, a built in oven with grill, a microwave oven and a separate ceramic hob, kettle, toaster, and a range of coffee machines.
In the cupboards you will find all the usual items you would expect including a wide range of crockery, glass ware, oven ware, cutlery, tea pot, mugs, pans, baking trays, plastic containers, condiment sets, tea towels, etc. The kitchen has everything necessary for you to prepare great meals should you feel inclined to do so.

In the bathroom you will find the following: -

A shower and large corner shower cabinet, a sink unit and bathroom cabinet for additional storage including a first aid box, numerous rails for hanging towels and a washing machine (also can dry laundry) and hair dryer. Instructions for easy use of the washing machine are available for your convenience. This also means you can pack light and make use of the washing facilities.

In the hall and broom cupboard you will find the following: -

Here you will find a long brush, dustpan and brush, mop and bucket, peg box, iron, a cool bag for shopping, a small cool bag for the beach and a range of cleaning materials for your convenience.
A clear folder containing all the necessary operating manuals for the electrical appliances is available for your convenience.

For your safety

There is a fire extinguisher in the hallway should it ever be required and a first aid kit in the bathroom.

There are three lifts for easy access to all floors. As this is a residential block with private owners there are community rules, and these will be in the welcome book for you to peruse.

Very well appointed studio with excellent view from dining table. Nice location but car parking is more limited than suggested. The continuous running water in the toilet was a particular feature that perhaps could be addressed!

Fantastic Apartment with Fantastic Sea View
My husband and I stayed in Geoff and Gayle’s apartment for 9 nights. The location is right across from a beach on the Mediterranean. As the photos depict, the view is amazing and the sound of the waves on the shore at night is sure to lull you to sleep. With an Aldi grocery store a 3 minute walk away and a bus stop even less, it is ideal for a longer stay. We had no problems finding a spot to park the rental car with lots of angle parking around the building. Access to the apartment was also easy with no tricky, narrow roads to navigate. The apartment is the best equipped I have ever stayed in. Although it is not big, it has everything, (including beach chairs which we used!) efficiently stored and extremely well maintained. The washer/dryer worked beautifully, Gayle and Geoff were wonderful hosts, greeting us on arrival, leaving us some lovely treats and making us feel right at home. Thanks! I would definitely return and would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

Beautiful apartment!!
From first booking to last day of holiday excelleny communication with Geoff and Gail. Not a huge apartment but perfect in every detail and spotless. Very comfy bed. Big shower. Loads of extra pillows etc. Welcome pack included wine and beer milk and water. Books. Beach towels . Wifi. Etc.. Lovely quiet residential building.. literally steps from the Beautiful beach ..Rent sun bed for €5 a day. Dine out in so many lovely restaurants on the promenade or travel up to torrox pueblo (a treat) or into Nerja by bus. Could not find one fault with this property or its owners.

Lovely little getaway
As typical with holidays we arrived in the earlier hours of the morning so it was dark. We arrived at the complex easily (about 40 minute drive from Malaga airport and only 5 minutes off the motorway) but the last little bit was a challenge but fortunately Geoff had been following the flight and was waiting for us. Geoff gave us a introduction to the property and let us be. When we woke in the morning and opened the shutters we were stunned by the view and how close in proximity the apartment was to the beach! We now had a proper chance to investigate the apartment, we were really impressed. It was clean, well kept and nicely furnished, just right for 2 for a week. What really impressed us both was the little touches. Gail and Geoff had sorted some bread, butter, jams, milk, tea, coffee, bottle water so we were all set for the morning. To top it off there was even a bottle of wine. But our favourite touches were the cool bag and ice blocks, beach blankets & parasol, all those little things that in the end just added to the ease of the holiday. The bathroom clean n tidy with a lovely shower. Kitchen although compact has everything you could need. Think my only gripe would be the bed is fairly firm but hey that is just my personal preference, I still managed plenty of good sleep. The location in the evening was fairly quiet so we had t he windows open every night and you could hear the sea. You could roll out of the block and within years straight on to the beach (if you want a shallower swimming location, walk the 2-3minutes towards the light house), plenty of restaurants to choose from, and the supermarket was less than 5 minute walk (and yes there was a shopping bag to use). Communication through the process was exactly what was needed. I would certainly recommend and wouldn’t be surprise if we return in the future.

Lovely Time in Torrox Costa
Gail and Geoff were wonderful hosts. Their studio apartment is perfect for a stay at Torrox Costa. The apartment was very clean and they had it set up and decorated to meet all our needs and more. They were very welcoming upon our arrival and walked us through any building guidelines. Only trouble we had was signing my iPhone onto the WiFi. My husband’s android though had no trouble. Thank you very much Gail and Geoff, if we are ever back in your area we would stay at your studio apartment again. Take care.

Very clean studio with beautiful view on the beach
Studio and location fulfilled our expectations. The beach and restaurants right in front of our door. The lovely big swimming pool a one minute walk. Passes for the pool are provided. The supermarket a 4 min walk. All with all, a lovely stay. Parking was a litte bit difficult because of the high season.
