Wonderful August Long Weekend on Lake Erie!
The cottage is well suited for family and friends. It is on Lake Erie and the water is accessible by stepping over a break front and climbing down a small ladder. The water was shallow and very warm. The cottage is 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Everything is well equipped and in pristine condition we had a great time! apristine condition

The cottage was clean and had all necessary supplies for a successful, safe, and enjoyable vacation. We especially enjoyed the ability to have evening bonfires. Communication from Eric prior to checkin was clear and helpful. He also provided information on site.

Quiet slice of heaven on Lake Erie
This is a great place to stay if you are looking for great views, peace and quiet, and fun things to do in the area. The sunset views while having a campfire were awesome. The cottage is well-appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Head kayaking in Kingsville and "Somewhere Else Experience" bike though wine country and enjoy the many roadside fruit and vegetable stands. Great place to visit with lots to do!

Great place!
The host was very friendly and available when we needed anything. Should possibly consider a couple more rolls of toilet paper and paper towel available. The house was very well kept and clean. Would stay here again. Only suggestion was that the wall going over to water was very hot in sun and should possibly be protected so someone doesn't burn themself climbing over.

Family cottage weekend
Thank you Eric! Our stay at your beautiful waterfront cottage was just spectacular! I love a good lightning and thunder and my daughter and grand daughter and I shared watching that show over the water at 4am our first night. I love wild waves as they crash to shore and after our family day out at Point Pelee we sat in our chairs back from the break wall and were thrilled as the waves crashed and splashed. My husband and son in law had brought their fishing poles and they were very successful catching small fishes and a bigger one each through the day on Sunday. We all so enjoyed every minute of our stay making memories we will cherish for ever. Thank you for providing the perfect home cottage for us to enjoy :).

We were looking for some much needed peace and rest and found that at your clean and lovely cottage, so wonderfully placed right on the water. Bill even managed to catch a few fish over the breakwall. We were blessed to meet your neighbours who added to the warmth of our week.

Vacation Paradise
We had a wonderful time at this vacation property. Everything was clean and organized, exactly as described. Our host was easy to reach and responded quickly to our questions. Property was a slice of heaven on the water, great view, easy to access in a quiet neighborhood and the second bathroom was a huge plus for the children. Would definitely like to stay here again!

Well appointed 3 bedroom cottage. Every amenity provided with an easy homey feel. The cottage gave us a happy place to stay during our 4 day wine tour and exploration of the Erie shore area regardless of the various weather conditions from hot to rainy.

Relax, Enjoy, Forget Life…
What more can we say than Wonderful! First, Eric was a fantastic host and took care of all our needs. From the large patio deck and its big comfortable chairs and table you have the full relaxing view of Lake Erie to enjoy the sunrise/sunsets. You can even BBQ your favorite meat on the grill or roast hotdogs at the fire pit. Inside, the 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths work for all guests. The home comes equipped with everything you need, there is even a pizza spatula for the outdoor pizza oven. If you are looking for a place to stay during your visit to Essex County or just need a place to relax and reset from life, this is the place for you.

The lake view was beautiful and bird watching was entertaining. The cottage has everything you need for cooking simple meals. If you enjoy going to the beach it is about a 10 minute drive to Colchester. Neighbors are friendly (which is not always the case with short term renting )

Beautiful family home with astounding view
Beautiful home in a phenomenal spot, literally on the water. The view is incredible, the sunset lasts forever. There is a firepit with wood chopped and ready to use, a pizza oven, and just pure sky. The house itself is very pretty, from the dishes and cutlery to the night lights in the hallways. Eric has paid a lot of attention to detail, creating a very welcoming space inside and out. It was truly a pleasure staying there, we loved every minute of our short vacation.

Property really comfortable and beatiful view
It was a pleasure to stay on this property. The property is very comfortable (as much outside as inside - seafront, beautiful view, patio, barbecue, 2 bathrooms, good size bedroom and comfortable bed, large living room and dining room with a beautiful view). Having a washer and dryer also adds to the comfort. At the cleanliness level, the windows and stove were in poor condition. For the rest, everything was clean.
