The hotel has a lovely appearance from the outside and the view from our room was nice but check in was cold and abrupt with limited information. We felt we had to ask for information on everything and that we were bothering them. Bright lights shining from outside into the early hours at night, telephone not working so no one to report to. Breakfast not topped up, bar area closed, restaurant lacked atmosphere. Looks lovely but desperately needs some love (including the male server at dinner who was just so so miserable). Room cleaning was bare minimum with just the towels taken and bed made. Not sure why we paid a small fortune to stay here!

A very friendly ā€œfamilyā€ hotel where all staff were very friendly and helpful. It also helped that the Town of Strobl has a friendly vibe with everyone out to help visitors have a great time - I certainly did!

We chose Stroblholf, by its location, wanting to experience the local culture. The staff were dressed in their folk style attire, the food was excellent, and the rooms clean. In the evening we were entertained by the dining room hearth. The gentleman sang played the Harmonica and accordion encouraging others to sing along as the locals showed off their dance skills. At the end of the small town main road is a crystal clear lake where you can rent boats, swim or walk around the lake on one of the many paths.It was a wonderful experience, and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Wonderful place
Super small family hotel in a delightful village/town. Hotel was clean and comfortable with attentive staff. Plenty of places to eat on a evening after sitting by the lake on the hotels private jetty.

The room is clean and comfy to stay in. It has the cottage kind of setup. Toilet is modern and clean. Hotel is beautifully decorated with pretty lighting. Breakfast is great. Waitress are polite and courteous.

Wonderful location for touring this region
My husband and myself spent four nights at the Stroblerhof. We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay in this family run hotel. If youā€™re looking for an authentic Austrian experience, this is the hotel for you. The hotel is very well kept and the room had an alpine charm. The breakfast was good and although we didnā€™t have an evening meal, the restaurant looked excellent. A word of caution though the room didnā€™t have have air conditioning and even though the weather wasnā€™t particularly warm while we were there, we found it hard to sleep. An Austrian tradition we didnā€™t find so charming was the nearby church bell which rang loudly on the quarter hour all through the night!

Hyggelig lite hotell med gode fasiliteter. Enkel men delikat frokost og fin frokostsal. Godt renhold og god service. Rommene var ogsĆ„ ganske nyoppussete. Det var kun ett problem, og det var kirkeklokkene som ringte hvert kvarter hele natten, rett utenfor vinduet. Det Ćødela dessverre en del for et ellers utmerket opphold.
