This was an excellent place to stay. I loved the privacy and the ease of transportation to all activities located within Traverse City.

Although a great location and beach, the room was very dated and the bathroom had a curtain where a wall should have been allowing everyone to hear someone using the toilet. No privacy as we were sharing the room with another couple. Even if it were just my husband and myself it would not have been appropriate. Bathroom was also in poor repair-mold in the shower, baseboards and sink fixtures falling apart. Sliding glass door was a struggle to open half way and people swimming could look directly into our room. Was not what we expected based on the hotels photos and not a good value fir the price we paid

Nice, fresh looking property. Very good breakfast set up in lobby each morning with yogurt, coffee tea, fruit muffins.. Rooms vey new feeling, nice balconies overlooking beach. If you can get ground floor room you can walk from your small terrace to beach. Nice pool area.

I was on 11 days vacation with my wife and our 3 year old son. We were accommodated in a room on the 3rd floor of the east building even though during our booking process with expedia we chose a room with a different layout out and according to the description and pictures was a part of the west building. The balcony was very unsafe and inappropriate for our 3 year old son since it was on 3rd floor and the actual balcony crates were way wider in size where a small children can easily place their bodies through it.Huge downside. We were told that will be possible moved to a different room but that never happened, they never came back to us with options even though there was some availability according to our observations . Another thing we did not like was the cleanness of the room , as soon as we walked in the entire floor was visible covered with dirt , balcony door was completely outdated-and had a mud like substance and spider nets all over it’s edges and hinges, my wife had to clean the room herself in order to make it suitable for our stay. Also the linens did not seem to be washed looked dirty and smelly, got some spots on them! Another thing was the very small , outdated and uncomfortable shower , you go in and you can’t do any moves even if you’re small person in size! Something that we liked was the view even though we couldn’t spend so much time on the balcony due to the unsafe conditions for our 3 year old, we were terrified and under stress anytime we go out.

Relaxing stay on the water
We had a gorgeous view of the bay! The bed and living area was nicely updated. The bathroom was dated. The jacuzzi tub didn't hold water. When we arrived our room didn't have any towels or washcloths, but the front desk remedied that for us very quickly. Grab and go breakfast was simple, but met our needs.

The property rooms could use some work there was stain on side of box spring and the sheets had stains as well, the jet tub was not cleaned and the shower was so tiny it made it difficult for my husband who is 6’1. We spontaneously needed a one-night stay that accommodated my husband, 2 young grandsons, & me. We fortunately booked one of the last rooms available, and everything worked out perfectly. The office manager who checked us in was professional & very polite. The room was clean, the beach was groomed, & the outdoor pool was clean. Everything is a little dated but kept as clean as possible, considering the hotel sits by a sandy, broad beach. The breakfast was all vending-type foods, but it was better than finding a market somewhere in the neighborhood. Overall, it all worked out perfectly.
