This well appointed 3 bedroom/3 full bath home includes a walk out lower level with additional open sleeping space to accommodate multi-family getaways. The home features an open concept fully appointed kitchen/dining and great room with panoramic views of the lake. Located across from a nature preserve, listen to the call of the Loons, see the Bald Eagles and the Deer that visit the lake in the mornings. The large upper deck with sun awning offers outdoor dining for 8, screened sun porch with sectional, large outdoor gathering area with fire pit. Sleeping space includes1st floor master suite with king bed, two bedrooms up each with a queen bed and lower level walkout features flex space sleeping (3 full size beds and 4 singles (bunks), full bathroom. Lower level also includes a game area and family room with large flatscreen tv, pool table and walk out access to the flagstone patio/firepit area. Lower level also includes extra refrigerator for additional beverages. Waterfront features include a large dock space for your boat and kayaks, life jackets not included. The property does not have a swimming beach, Clam Lake is good for swimming off your boat and there is a beach nearby on Torch Lake located by Dockside Restaurant.

We had the best time on our annual family summer vacation. The accommodations were perfect for our family with 4 teenagers. We did bring our pontoon and were able to enjoy both Lake Bellaire (35 min river ride) and the Torch Lake Sandbar (50 min ride). Cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Family & friends stayed together here to celebrate 2 birthdays. We enjoyed boating on Torch, Clam, & Lake Bellaire. Loved the convenience of having our boat right here on the dock. Got to go out at night to see the Northern Lights! Lots of room in the house & plenty of ame items we enjoyed. Cooked most meals at the home & enjoyed the nice big kitchen & deck. Amazing 3 day boat trip the Antrim chain of Lakes
It was myself and my wife, our 6 year old son and 1 year old daughter, my mother and another couple. It was both of the couple’s anniversary, and one of our birthdays. So plenty to celebrate! The house was top notch. It had everything we needed and plenty of room! The first day was rainy so we didn’t get on the boat until the evening, but it’s one of those houses you perfectly content hanging out at. Everything was very clean. Great location. Great dock to tie our 25’ pontoon up to. Shelly was great to communicate with. Great memories were made. We look foward to renting this place again !

This was our second stay at this amazing house and peaceful property! We love it! Shelly is an amazing host! The house is so spacious! This is a fantastic property with plenty of room both indoors and outdoors. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We rented a boat from Butch’s Marina and it was just a short drive from the property and easy access to Torch lake. We’d definitely stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations!
It all starts with excellent communication with the host before, during and after our stay. This rental has it all, from modern amenities to unique location. Extra large lot and the siting of the home produce privacy that is uncommon for a lakefront rental in that area. The weather was perfect so we didn't need to take advantage of the games or pool table. We didn't even turn the TV on the entire week. With golf, winery, brewery, a secluded beach, and boat rental all very close, the days filled up fast. Grilling and campfires at night equaled a perfect ending. Thanks Shelly and Chris for sharing. See you next year!

Great time!
We had a great time on Clam Lake. I only wish we had more time. The house was perfect. Very clean and everything we needed. We went to Bellaire one night for dinner and had a great time and even decided to go back the next day. We spent one day at Sleeping Bear Dunes too and that was awesome. We always wanted to spend some time in Northern MI and it didn't disappoint so we'll be back. The house was exactly what we were looking for.

Our vacation was wonderful. The home was spacious, clean and stylish. The location was absolutely lovely; private and natural. Upon checkout we followed all closing procedures and left the home in tip top condition. The following day I received an email from the owner with pictures of the house depicting damage and mess. THIS WAS NOT AT ALL HOW WE LEFT THE HOME. I have no idea what happened after we checked out. Perhaps someone was in there? Vandals? Perhaps the cleaning crew staged it? The owner was not willing to entertain any alternative reasons for the damage and charged me an extra $500. VRBO was not helpful in assisting me with the issue and shuffled me from person to person and department to department. There is no clear procedure in place to deal with such predicaments. I have been renting through VRBO for many years and have always received great reviews from owners. I will now be sure to take many photos of the home upon check in and check out and purchase the extra insurance.
