The staff is extremely friendly. The hotel really just needs some up-keep and maintenance. The wallpaper was coming off the walls and the beds were not comfortable at all. For being older and a bit run down, it seemed like they keep it as clean as they can. We would still return as its convenient for us. It has great potential if the owners gave it some TLC.

This hotel is very outdated and has a very funky smell. They really need to invest in some new paint and carpeting. Was not comfortable here at all but may be fine for some. In all actuality the property is beautiful and has potential but needs the attention mentioned. And the staff were in the hallway during room cleaning time using foul language....not appropriate for your guest to hear.

My room was awful. The wallpaper was falling off the walls. No working fan in bathroom. Heat lamp in bathroom missing bulb. Paint on bathroom ceiling falling off. Mold on bathroom ceiling(which I’m sure had to do with no working fan.) The curtains were dirty and the pictures on wall were crooked.

Nice hotel. Property well maintained and common areas clean. Mattress could have been a little bit softer, it is a basic inner spring. Pool was great! Backyard area was awesome since we came with a baseball team and they were able to play wiffle ball. Overall, it was a good 2 night stay.

Lack of attention to needs
I want to give more stars before the Bed was SOO comfortable and it made up for some issues. When we got our room the toilet paper rack was empty and there was an empty box of Kleenex. The notepad was already written on too. Not too big of a deal. The walls were old and ripped and cracking. The ceiling in the bathroom was bubbled and a chunk fell on me while showering. I’m not sure if it’s normal but there wasn’t a fan in the bathroom either. Anyway these issues would give 3-4 stars because it didn’t affect me too much. Went to breakfast at 9 am and there was nothing left really. Eggs and a couple sausage Pattie’s. One muffin and two slices of bread. I went for orange juice and it ran clear. Went for milk and there was none. You could tell no one was checking in on the food. Then I hit the hottub after. There were no towels and only four people in the pool area. The dirty basket of towels was overflowing. And the pool had only been open for an hour or two. So I believe they weren’t taken care of by the night shift. I’m just frustration of the lack of attention by the staff to the necessities.

Great overall but the rooms need an update, there for daughters softball tournament and rooms dirty and wall paper was coming off the wall and stains on carpets and had a weird smell not just in our room but the girls rooms too but the rest of the building was clean and nice and pool and hot tub were very clean food was great service and management were awsome just rooms need update
