Perfect Pet-Friendly Getaway with Exceptional Hosts
We recently spent five days at this beautiful Georgia home in Rising Falls, GA. The hosts, Perry and Mike, were excellent and super attentive. They even had snacks available upon our arrival—a very nice touch! Perry called me the morning of our arrival to ensure we were checking in on time and to assure us the home was ready for us. The 3-bedroom, 3-bath home was in excellent condition, super clean, and well-maintained. You can tell they put a lot of time and effort into the home. This pet-friendly home was perfect for our two smaller dogs and my service animal, a German Shepherd. They even have a dog run in the back that you can use; just make sure you lock the gate so your pet does not escape. There is also a small fishing pond behind the home. If you don't mind driving 30 minutes to major sights like Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, Rock City, and Incline Railway, and you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. There is a cafe (Cafe 136) right next door and a state park about 1/2 mile down the road. Ingles (supermarket) is about seven miles away; Walmart and Publix are 25 minutes away. The kitchen is spacious, and there are two living rooms and a separate dining area. This house is roomy! I would not hesitate to come back here! Stay, enjoy the hospitality, and enjoy the sights!

Loved the house. Well equipped. Clean. The extras(snacks, coffee, eggs, chicken fingers in freezer ) all were terrific. Loved sitting by the pond with coffee on Friday morning. Watched 7 deer running along the bank of the pond. Found this to be a very relaxing stay.

Surprisingly Beautiful Inside
With 3 good-sized bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2 sitting rooms, and large front and back yards, this is a great place for 5 or 6 or even 7 people. From the exterior of the property and the out-in-the-country surroundings, you would expect the inside to be homey and "lived in." But in this double-wide modular home, you will see many unusual, beautiful furnishings and works of art. Delightful! The pond in the backyard is also very pleasing and the horse field behind that, an added bonus. We were also glad to have a gas station/convenience store within walking distance.

Great Hiking weekend!
We had an amazing stay at this perfectly located house. The host was extremely attentive to our every need. The interior was lovely and had all of the amenities and more! The exterior was picturesque and allowed us to unwind after a strenuous day of hiking. We will definitely be back. We could not recommend it highly enough.

Enjoyed our stay!
We were extremely pleased with our stay here. The house is beautifully decorated (one of the loveliest we've ever stayed in!). Comfy beds, nice kitchen, and we enjoyed sitting at the pond in the backyard as well as attempting to paddle around it in the little boat! The cafe next door has great home cooking---if you're there on Friday night, try the AUCE catfish special (amazing!). A new Dollar General is right down the road, too, which makes last-minute shopping for necessities very convenient. Just a couple of things to note for travelers: 1) French doors lead from the master bedroom into the master bath, without any blinds or curtains, so if sharing the master bedroom with your SO, be sure you're comfortable with being seen while, well, you know. 2) The lovely artwork and furnishings in the house may present a problem if you have extremely active (read: rambunctious) or young children. Lots of breakables. Having said that, our 7-year old son navigated the house well and everything was still intact when we left. Thank goodness. LOL Communication with the host was excellent, and my elderly father has already requested we stay here again next time we're in the Lpokout Mountain area! It was a hit with our entire family, young and old. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely charming!
The house is so cute, tons of unique furniture pieces and art work that our group talked about all weekend. It was awesome spending the evenings around the firepit by the pond listening to the bullfrogs and birds. We all took turns piloting the little boat provided. It was such a treat to find such a lovely pet friendly property, our four legged family had a blast too!

Charming VRBO right by Cloudland Canyon
We stayed here with our 3 kids and dog. This was probably the best-stocked VRBO I’ve visited. It was a great home base for visiting the Ruby Falls/Rock City stuff. Cloudland Canyon State Park is about a mile down the road. You can tell that the owners are conscientious about their place. I’d stay here again.

Nice house, very clean, great location, but not very private
The house was clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and has great eclectic decorations (ranging from original painted portraits to family photos, antique furniture, Asian art, to Santa Clauses, lol). The location is perfect for anyone wanting to hike at Cloudland Canyon, or even do touristy things in Chattanooga (~30 min drive). However, not shown in any of the photos or provided in the description is the fact that there is another rental property immediately (about 10 feet) behind this one. The photos make it look like this is a private little place with a pond out in the country, with the closest neighbor being a farmhouse in the distance. We didn't have any issues, but if you're looking for a private place to stay for a romantic getaway or something, this won't fit the bill.

Comfortable Stay
We stayed there during a family wedding that was at the Oak Leaf Cottage. It was also located within 5 minutes from Cloud Canyon State Park. The facility was deep cleaned prior to our stay. Perry was very responsive. The only trouble we had was that if everyone showered one-after-the-other, we needed to wait for hot water. Also, it would have been helpful to have a place in each room to hang towels (so they can be reused). However, there were plenty of towels to change everyday. We especially loved the kitchen which had plenty of utensils and cookware. Well stocked up home.

Exactly what we wanted! Perfect for local adventuring
Cannot say enough good things about this house/location. The management and owners were incredibly helpful and nice. The house was very clean and comfortable, didn't feel like a museum. This is important when you have children and pets joining the trip. My wife and I loved the location as it was close to everything we wanted to do. To put it in perpective, we have two 2 year olds and a dog that required us coming back in the middle of the day to let out. With all that in three days we did: Rock City, Lookout Mountain, Point Park, Cloudland Canyon, Chickamauga, Incline Railway, Coolidge Park, Tennessee Aquarium, Chattanooga Zoo and the Tennessee Railway Museum. Plus snacks and restaurants. If we can do all that then anyone should too! Highly recommend this property. If we come back this way, we will stay here again 100%.

Lovely stay on the mountain
We had a wonderful time with family at this rental. The house was large enough for us to comfortably hang out in the living room, eat dinner at the table, and plenty of bathrooms that there was no foot-jiggling line to get in. Each bedroom was clean, spacious, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked with plenty of TP, towels, and other amenities. The kitchen had everything you’d need to cook a meal. At one point, we asked if there was a toaster, because we couldn’t find one. The owner promptly delivered one. The house is located right next to a nice small family restaurant that served yummy home-cooked food. There is a pond stocked with fish behind the house, and the owner was nice enough to let my kids throw out fish food to watch the fish swim around. They had a fishing pool we could use, but we didn’t have time. The owners were quickly reachable at each phase of renting, including when on-site. The owner’s home is right behind the rental, so very close if you needed anything. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to visit the Chattanooga/Lookout Mountain area.

Clean, Spacious, and Excellent Location
I booked this rental for my sister's wedding at Cloudland Canyon. The location couldn't have been any better, as we were less than 5 minutes from her venue. My fiance and I, as well as the bride and several bridesmaids all stayed at this venue. The large mirror in the living room made it extremely easy for everyone to do hair/makeup before the wedding, and the home was so large, that we didn't feel crowded at all, despite 8 of us staying there. The owner was very helpful and called me the day before check in to give me local recommendations and let us know about the area and property. He also came over briefly to let us know that one of our vehicles had a flat tire and to give us recommendations on where to get it fixed locally. The home had everything we could have needed, including extra towels, blankets, plenty of dishware and silverware, a washer and dryer, and even a fabric steamer which was wonderful for the bridesmaid's dresses. The pond out back was lovely as well. I wish we could have stayed longer and explored the area more, as the home was really that perfect- and also one of the CLEANEST vacation rentals I've ever stay in. My one recommendation would be to remove the confederate flag art in the living room, but other than that the stay was absolutely perfect, clean, and really couldn't have been any better.

Canyon Hiking Heaven
If you want cleanliness, convenience to Cloudland Canyon, a hot shower and a comfy bed this is the perfect house. The only way to get closer to CC is to stay in the park which is really hard to snag these days. We travel frequently using VRBO properties and this one was right at the top for cleanliness - dog friendly or not. The house was amply stocked with everything we needed for 4 days of family hiking throughout the area. We loved having a washer/dryer which is not available in the park cottages. The owners were right next door and asked us to stop in if there was anything that we needed. We even ran late on checkout and they were more than understanding. We would stay again and recommend to friends who may visit the area.

Excellent Property
We loved our stay in this property. Everything we needed was there and the proximity to the state park was excellent. There were two items that would have made our stay even better...some extra blankets (it got much colder than we anticipated) and stoppers for the tubs (bathing little ones is easier with these). Those are two very minor adjustments and our stay was great! Thank you!
