Price gouging. Fleeing hurricane helene destruction. Tri-cities hotels were completely booked. Based on price and desperate to find a place to stay at least for the night didnā€™t check reviews and booked non-refundable online. I paid $294 for one night at literally a roach motel. Killed a roach on the mirror with the lights on. Slept with the lights on to deter any more from coming out. Initially I was told our room was in the back. When we arrived to the back looked like prostitutes and druggies pacing the sidewalk around the rooms. Went back and requested a room ā€œnot in the backā€. Felt a little safer with new location closer to the front and managed to sleep somewhat.

This was the only property available within a 20 mi radius. When I got there there were homeless people walking about there was people hanging out back by the dumpsters smoking cigarettes and weed I did not feel safe nor my vehicle. When I got into my room it looked run down the bathroom looked disgusting just run down hole in the door shower was not very clean I would not walk barefoot in there or in the entire room. When I turned on the vanity light roaches of different sizes and other bugs scattered on the counter. The mini fridge the outside was dirty, the inside there were rust spots like it was an older refrigerator. The baseboards throughout the room had mold growing on them there was dirty spots along the walls. It took me all of 10 minutes to check out after I checked in. This is my first time leaving a negative review but it was also the first time I have ever checked out of a hotel after checking in because the conditions were deplorable. Luckily I didn't see any bed bugs but who knows. My room even smelled strongly of weed because the people next door were smoking it. The entire property looks run down like it needs a lot of TLC.

We requested a no smoking room but it reeked of cigarette smoke the comforter had cigarette burn marks all over it there was graffiti all over the bathroom door like in public restroom the ceiling in the bathroom had a large rotting hole from an apparent leak there was only 1 washcloth and 2 towels for 2 guests. Pillows were so flat it was as if we had none. The only positive I saw was we did not wake up with bedbug bites! If I hadnā€™t booked thru a booking site with no refund I would have left The pictures on the site are VERY deceiving!!

When I requested a trash can, I was given a garbage bag. I then requested an ice bucket and was given another garbage bag. Which was fine, because the ice machine was out of service. The toilet wouldn't stop running. The bathroom light wouldn't shut off. The overhead light didn't work. The TV remote didn't work (was replaced after multiple requests). There were holes and stains in the furniture. Probably more things, but those are top of mind.

Needs remodeling, the lock latch was broke right off the bat walking in! It needs cleaned good. The tile in the bathroom tile was broken I had 4 kids that was dangerous for them to use the bathroom. The pillows had blood on them! The room was dirty and had c$* stains on the chair!!! We stayed because we had to evacuate our home because of hurricane helene and had to stay in terrible conditions! Never again! Iā€™ll stay at a shelter before spending that much for one night!

Walking in, I instantly noticed the room stank of mildew. I opened the mini fridge and a cockroach ran out. A quick look around the room found a lot of cockroach feces, dirty bedsheets, stained towels, and a phone that did not work. The person on duty did not care whatsoever, however did give me a cleaner room.. still kind of gross sheets and one gross towel, but no signs of cockroachesā€¦ just slept on top of the comforters.. so gross.

This place was by far the worse hotel ive ever seen. The room was dirty, the blankets on beds hold holes and tears in them, the matresses apeared to be molded, the bath tub was nasty. There was a spoiled towel left wrapped around the door knob on tbe inside of door. No batteries in the tv remote and not even a trash can in the room. Unfortunately room was booked with no refund and was after 11pm arriving at hotel so were stuck with our poor choice. I wish i had taken pictures of room but trust me you dont want to stay at this place.
