Room itself was fine and clean although dated which I knew. The problem was with all the other facilities. All laundry machines and soap dispensers were out of order. Soft drink machine and ice machine were also out of order. With a bit of maintenance, this would be a great place to stay.

We did not stay here. We got a refund and moved up the street to Bryce Pioneer Village. The room and area surrounding it was old and smelled strongly of cleansers. There was no ice which we needed- that was the last straw. The person at the front desk was accommodating. This place needs a renovation.

Clean and comfortable room - nothing fancy but great value and convenient location close to Bryce Canyon. Couple restaurants, market and coffee shop all within easy walking distance - thatā€™s about all there is in Tropic but heyā€¦itā€™s quiet :)

The lobby closed overnight and during the afternoons. We arrived late into Bryce Canyon and thankfully our key was taped to the lobby door so we had a place to sleep. They were closed in the AM when we left. We ended up going to the restaurant next door around 2pm and I thought I should go and make sure we were all paid and good, still nobody there!!

Needs to be updated. We stayed in separate building from the main. A/c didnā€™t work, but they did move us. Room smelled, carpet seemed dirty, no outlets by the bed. Gravel parking lot. Just really run down for price. ā€œBreakfastā€ was from 8:00-9:30 when most guests had already left for parks. Would not recommend
