The staff was terrific and the accommodations were excellent. Everything was very clean! The sound suppression wasn’t terrific for such a new hotel, but it was still pretty good overall. I will definitely return!

Okay Stay at Avid
Second time we’ve stayed here since New Year’s. Nice, if modest rooms. Problem was the fire alarm went off on a Saturday afternoon everyone evacuated our rooms, but no word from front desk whether it was real or a test. Our last morning (wanting to sleep later) alarm went off twice at 6:45am and 7:05. Ugh!!!!! No apology at checkout.

Overall clean and good and would recommend. The tile like floors in the rooms allow to hear your upstairs neighbors walking around too much. But I think they were just heavy footed people.

Everyone was nice except one late night front desk male worker. He was quite rude about us having our key to come in the front door after hours (10:30-11:00pm), which we had, but was stuck in the card sleeve they provide for you, therefore it took a minute for us to get it out so the door would open. He was just very rude about telling us! It wasn’t necessary!!!

A fair stay
When checking in I did have to wait a bit for someone to come up front, there was a sign put out saying they would be back. The room was clean other than the floors, feet got dirty when walking across with no shoes. The pool was filled but closed all weekend without any explanation to why. There is construction across the street where our room faced but no work being done at the time of stay. Was a quiet area and convenient to get to food or highway.
