Il Tiglio 1, an ancient renovated farmhouse on the Turin hillside

Il Tiglio is located on the Turin hillside, in a recently renovated 18th century farmhouse, surrounded by a beautiful garden and overlooking a beautiful hilly landscape.

More precisely, it is located in the center of the small and ancient village of Revigliasco, in the past a traditional holiday resort a few kilometers from Moncalieri, Pecetto, Pino Torinese, Chieri and Castelnuovo Don Bosco. It is also an excellent starting point for visiting the famous hills of Monferrato and Asti.

Just 10 km from Turin, it is also the ideal place to stay in the countryside and visit the city with its many attractions: museums, royal residences, historic parks and cafes. From the Tiglio you can easily reach the Lingotto Fiere, site of important events (

The fact that the house is located in a built-up area offers many advantages: in fact, within walking distance it is possible to find two restaurants, a pharmacy, a bank, a church, a post office and, two kilometers away, a golf course with swimming pool.

Furthermore, it is possible to reach the center of Turin by bus no. 70 (www

On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, a living room with a dining table, a small living room with TV and a kitchen. On the first floor 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, each with a bathroom, inside or adjacent to the bedroom. Cozy attic with bed with possibility of adding a second bed. The living room overlooks an area with a pergola table and chairs.

Parking is located a few meters from the house.

A wi-fi network is available.

Authentic Italian house in the hills of Turin
Our family of three moved to Italy from Singapore in August this year. We needed a fully furnished property for a few months in the vicinity of Torino and the international school of Chieri. We were lucky to find Linden 1. In the beginning we stayed in Linden 2 for a few weeks. Both rentals are part of a beautiful, old, renovated, Piemontese casina with a lovely front and back garden. The main entrance to the property is a stunning, original portico with old stone pavement and the covered area with a table and sofa, where one can enjoy a quiet moment with the views of this beautiful house. The property is an L shaped house divided in several parts. They are all independent with separate entrances. Linden 1 is a fully functional house with 3 comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, a little but fully equipped kitchen and a living room. There is a lovely, covered area outdoor for meals al fresco, in front of the living room. It is an authentic Italian house with lots of period features, which the owners also use for own stay. The house can be rented for shorter periods as well. The house is situated in Revigliasco, which is a quiet, little old village in the hills about 15 min drive from Turin. It is set in forested area, bathing in pure, fresh air with great views of the rolling hills and Alps at the backdrop. It has a bakery, grocery shop, a butcher, a pharmacy and last but not least, two fantastic well known restaurants, one of which is situated opposite of the front door of the property. A stroll in the village is particularly enjoyable in the early morning when on the clear day, one can enjoy the views of nearby Alps. The property owner, Claudia, was fantastic and very helpful with all of our queries, such as : where to buy bread or how to get to the doctor. We communicated in our basic Italian although Claudia speaks perfect English. Claudia was always prompt to reply and always did her best to accommodate our requests. We were so lucky to find this lovely house and stay here for a few months before finding a more permanent stay. We can highly recommend it to anyone for shorter or longer holiday. Thank you Claudia!

Quiet get away close to the city
We loved staying here! The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil you could possibly need and claudia was great to work with. You can walk to the high street of revligasco and find anything you need in a pinch from a pharmacy to the local bakery. 10 minutes from downtown and Valentino park. Great local restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and quiet place! Wish we could've stayed longer!
Fabulous HUGE space! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Clean and so cozy. Parking close by and only about an hour to Alba. 5 minutes to the nearest carrefour (grocery - and this was driving!) Plenty of utensils in the kitchen to cook for ourselves. Absolutely wonderful! I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Charming, warm and sunny apartment, makes you feel at home
We spent a week at the Linden in mid October and we can only highly recommend it. The house was comfortable enough for a family of five and our teenage son loved the attic. We had breakfast under the jasmin pergola in the garden and the quaint dining room table served as the perfect gathering place at night. Reviliasco is only a 15 minute drive down a steep narrow road to Torino and halfway you can find a sprawling parc with plenty of paths lined with chestnut trees. At this time of year the autumn foliage was amazing so we ended up going to the parc not once but three times. There are two fantastic restaurants within a few hundred meters from the apartment. We loved the baker, the butcher and the mom and pop grocery store where we went for our morning espresso and a friendly chat. Alba and Saluzzo are an hour away , also the Linden is conveniently located to explore the area.

Beautiful farmhouse very near Torino
We loved the stay at The Linden 1 in Revigliasco, near Torino. The town is very walkable, and the closeness to the city made it easy to visit wonderful Torino each day. The house is charming and comfortable, with many places to gather, eat and talk. Claudia was gracious and very accommodating, and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. I would recommend this place to friends.

a little bit of heaven
A very small town, 2 wonderful restaurants steps away, magnificent scenery, and most important gracious lovely people. Claudia, Anna, and bro-in-law David couldn't have been more helpful. The setting is idyllic and the farmhouse accommodations are superb. We only wished that we could have spent more time. For those who want to begin to experience Italy and it's people up close, this is the way to travel. Off the beaten path, staying in a wonderful country setting with all conveniences, driving access to wine country, Turin and cinq terre--it doesn't get any better!!

Charmante maison italienne
