Quick and easy check-in and the staff were very friendly. We stayed Friday night passing through. Tuscaloosa was packed out because of the Alabama game but it was a pleasant experience and we were overall satisfied with our stay. The sausage served for the free continental breakfast was outstanding.

This hotel is only good maybe for one night. I went to go check in and the lady behind the counter was sitting there eating cereal ( did nto even put it down to talk to me), after doing all the paperwork we went up to our rooms on the 2nd floor. We walk into the room and it smells like mildew and it looks like it needs a good old makeover. The worst part was the shower. Evertime you took a shower all the water went onto the floor ( no matter how many towels you used it would not clean it up) The toilet was directly next to the sink so my hubby ( 6'4 320lbs could not fit on the toilet lol. Who ever painted these rooms did a bad job and you can tell. The location is good if you are attending a UA game and the lobby area is pretty clean. they do not have room service so if you need more towels ( which you will because of showers) you have to ask. My son is a HVAC person and my daughter could not breath so he checked the vents and I almost got sick they were so dirty. I did bring it to the attention of the staff they said " they do not know the last time it was cleaned'

It was by far the worse stay ever. The room door had a 1/2inch gap between door and frame you could see in the room. When I reported it to staff the response was put a towel up. Then, there was roaches staff response again “oh we are down south roaches Are everywhere”. Horrible!!!

The place is a dump, there were bugs in our first room so we changed rooms. When I say bugs there was a giant water bug crawling across the floor as soon as we walked in the room. I pulled the sheets back in the 2nd room and saw brown crusty stuff all over the mattress. There were also cigarette burns and stains all over the seat in the room. The room was also very musty. I couldn't do it after seeing these two rooms. Also the walls and walk to our room was visibly dirty. Also while in the room, you could hear the person in the next room clear as day, so paper thing walls in there. The card holder they gave to the room was even dirty and looked like it had been wet before or maybe even reused. I gave the 2 star on the staff only because the guy working the front desk was very nice about everything when we encountered our issues. I can't say that about the rest of the staff as the manager was very difficult to deal with when presenting my issues. The place is a dump and I am glad I did not stay there and left to a different hotel.

The price is reasonable (especially for a game weekend!), and there are little add-ons in the lobby (bottled water, and snacks). However, the bathrooms are small.
