Coral Gate 40 is ideally located on the absolute waterfront in the exclusive Anchorage Island Estate, Tweed Heads. Imagine holidaying on an island! The townhouse is located upstairs on the first floor and offers all the creature comforts of home in a serene, peaceful location.

The townhouse has 2 bedrooms - main with queen bed and ensuite with walk in shower and the second bedroom has 2 x king single beds (can be zipped together into a king bed). Both bedrooms have ceiling fans for year-round comfort.

The lounge room is comfortably furnished and there is a smart Tv with Netflix connectivity and free wifi along with books and games to enjoy.

The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and everything you need to cook and entertain on holidays or step out to your private waterfront balcony and cook up the days catch on the electric Bbq.

The main bathroom offers walk in shower with separate bath and there is a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. There is also a lock up garage with plenty of storage room.

Coral Gate 40 is located on the absolute waterfront with a sandy beach directly in front of the property. It is ideal for a family who enjoy fishing, swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking (1 kayak available for guests) whilst still being central to everything.

Anchorage Islands is a well-maintained complex offering manicured grounds, secure gated access and swimming pool. It is located only a short distance to shops, bowls cubs, Twin Towns Services Club, public transport, Tweed hospital, Tweed river and some of the Gold Coasts best beaches!

You are welcome to bring your boat with you, however please note there is no boat storage at the unit. Boat storage is available nearby on Wharf St in Tweed Heads. You are only allocated one parking space in the garage and are not permitted to park in the visitor parking.

* The Anchorage Island Estate is home to a high population of mature aged residents and only suitable for holiday guests looking a quiet, peaceful getaway. The townhouse is non-smoking including on the balcony and outdoor areas *

Overall it was great. Me and my girlfriend cut ourself on bits of glass in the master bedroom so it had not been cleaned properly. Basic clean but not thorough. Linen and towels should be provided aswell as bin bags, washing powder etc. The view from balcony is amazing and we would definitely come back again. Good value for money. Neighbours are a bit territorial and one women shouted at my kids as they were using the wrong pool. The internat was intermittent.

There were several areas in the property which need thorough cleaning - glass windows and doors and fly screens were really filthy. Although inclement weather is nothing the owners can deal with; the steps leading to the house were slippery with a lot of debris build up on them. One of the toilets needed a new washer installed (running cistern). Non existent Wifi. We had received wifi instructions from the real estate agent - neither of which worked. The place is very tired and in need of some work. As it rained the whole time, we managed to get some "rest" and that was appreciated. However, I would not return.

If you are looking for a quiet stay in the Tweed, Coral Gate is ideal. In a secure gated area, the outlook onto the water is relaxing. A lovely easy walk along the river or around the complex and a short drive to shops, clubs and attractions.

Beautiful, quiet location with great views of Terranora Creek.
The apartment is situated only a short walk to the Tweed Mall and restaurants. There is an abundance of swimming/fishing/kayaking spots in the area, most of which are crowd-free. We really enjoyed the walking/bike tracks around the river and coast. You can safely walk or ride a bike for hours without having to worry about traffic. The view from the balcony is of the beautiful Terranora Creek. The area next to the creek is peaceful and a great spot to see and listen to wildlife. Plenty of fish, stingrays, native birds to be seen. The apartment itself has comfy beds, a washing machine, BBQ, stove and everything else you could possibly need. The complex is very clean and secure. This is the perfect getaway for someone wanting to just relax. I'm very much looking forward to my next stay!

Great location and well set up apartment. Check in was a little tricky due to border closers as keys needed to be picked up in Queensland and property is in NSW. Cleanliness was not good. Very grimy and cupboard under sink was disgusting. Apartment is on the second floor not the ground floor as it looks in the picture. Great to have books, puzzles and games in the apartment and the kayak was great. Neighbors were obviously not happy with holiday rentals being in the complex

This is a lovely place to have a holiday considering the excellent price. Peaceful water views and cooling breezes made it a great place to sit and relax with family. I would definitely stay here again.
