Charming quiet B& B , A true hidden Gem
Alan & Ann were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are personable & very accommodating. The house is absolutely charming, quaint & quiet. Ann keeps the decor of the house fitting to the era it was built. It's like being back in time. So much history, many books and so much to look at throughout the house. Delicious breakfast served with unique dishes & a small homemade baked treat in the room upon arrival. Highly recommend if you are looking for something different. A true 'hidden gem".

Ann and Alan are gracious hosts and their historic home is a wonderful B&B. The room I had was clean and comfortable. Along with the wonderful brownies waiting for me in the room, there was also a history of the home, the area and the original owner Pratt Smith. Breakfast was delicious too! I definitely enjoyed my stay.

This was an interesting, vintagechome. The history was very interesting. I loved all of the crosstitch and older books. The only recommendation I would make to the owners is that if you need to leave early, possibly let the guests know in advance so that both the guests and you are not rushed. The food was excellent!

This was my first time in a B&B and dang was I impressed. The hosts are so kind and welcoming. Host left a treat in the room for a late night snack. We came in late and accommodations were made for us. The place has an antique allure that was fun. The breakfast was amazing. Such a unique experience compared to a hotel/motel. Will remember this place forever.

It really was as our son said staying at his grandparents house, honestly it’s been a highlight of our trip so far,the hosts were very attentive to our requests and made our stay special. Beautiful rustic house with a lot of history and nice grounds to relax in. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Les propriétaires étaient très sympathiques. Le déjeuner était excellent. La seule chose la chambre était un peu encombrée et poussiéreuse donc nous avons fait un peu d'allergie mais pour ce type de maison c'est une mine d'or. Beaucoup d'antiquités et la maison a une histoire à connaître.

We had a lovely stay at Pratt Smith House. It's a beautiful, historic stone house. Inside everything is decorated with country style quilts, artwork and knickknacks. Our room was cozy. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We had a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

The home was impressive, especially with the abundance of items of the past, many from the 1800’s. The bed was only a double, a bit small for 2 adults, but the mattress was one of the best. I had no concerns about cleanliness. The hosts served a great breakfast and spent the time in conversation as well as serving. It was a great experience.

So i want to be completely fair with the review. First off the hosts are very very nice people. Breakfast was truly amazing. No issue at all with any of that. I think that it is important to know what this is which is an old historic home that is decorated as such and would be very much enjoyed by someone who enjoys that and is looking to slow life down for a day or two. I thought it was a little different coming into that which is likely an error on my part. If you are looking for updated rooms or a hotel type of experience this is not it. The house sounds feels and smells as it should for a house of this age. Ann and Alan were very nice and sweet and proved a true B&B experience

The property is lovingly maintained by hosts Alan and Anne, who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The house is filled with interesting antiques and vintage decorations. Plus, the breakfasts are amazing!
