Construction remodel happening. Workers were in at 6am tearing out rooms around us. Pool was NASTy… the rivers were great and in better shape than the pool it needs to be shocked and flocked… breakfast… eh.

Loved this hotel easy check in the guy at the front desk was awesome and super friendly we told him our room wasn’t cooling with out hesitation he moved us to another room we took advantage of the free breakfast which he informed us about over all the best definitely recommend and will book again

Arrived about 7pm, Katherine greeted me immediately. She was very polite and friendly. She was very thorough with details about location of the room, restaurant,pool, and hours for breakfast. When I checked out the following morning, Katherine was working again with the same friendly smile. I will definitely be back here on my next trip to Uvalde. Hats off to Katherine and a great stay here at Days Inn by Wyndham Uvalde

The staff were wonderful. Wish the property facilities were better. Our toilet wouldn't flush. We had maintenance come and plunge but did it again next time it was used. My husband actually got the plunger the next time to do it himself. After that, we ended up using the facilities inside the hotel lobby. The grounds weren't kept very well either. They also must have people not staying there use the facilities. You need you card to go into the breakfast room. It's not just open like at other hotels. There is construction going on, they said they were remodeling. Maybe when that's finished it'll be better. However, like I said, the staff couldn't have been any nicer or helpful. They made the stay.

Our room was the cleanest that I have ever seen a hotel room ! I used to be very snotty about making sure I was in a 5 star luxury branded hotel but now have a totally different view ! Nice ambience, breakfast was acceptable, price was excellent ! If you are staying over around the area... I would definitely give them a shot !

Could have been worse….
I just needed to stay a night in Uvalde. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked aside from that the room, especially the bathroom should have been bulldozed. The bathroom looks like a kindergartener did the tile work around the tub. They also didn’t know the difference between caulk and grout. Missed the mold ring around the ceiling because there’s no ventilation. Safe to report no bed bugs so there’s that I guess. The front desk attendant was super pleasant and friendly.

the staff was not trying to make it reasonable & was too happy we went by 3rd party to book our room... they have been remodeling & room wasn't sone , so no closet to hang out clothes , no drawers to put our clothes in them, the iron wasn't working, the TV was all snowing unable to watch tv... & all they kept saying g "yes, we are still in the process of remodeling, a lot of stuff connected yet"... won't want to stay there again.
