Many things were very good or excellent. My room was luxurious and very attractive. My dinner was very good.
But the manager of the breakfast room was a petty dictator. My package included breakfast, and the breakfast spread was largely laid out at 5:40 in the morning. I was catching an early flight from the nearby airport and wanted to eat a quick breakfast before catching my shuttle to the airport. I was curtly told that the breakfast room was closed, and would not open until 6:30. Could I have something to take away. No! We are closed. Why? Because those are the rules! Given the high price I was paying to stay at this hotel, I felt poorly used, and deeply offended.
Also, when waiting at the airport to be shuttled to the hotel, I was worried about not knowing how to find their shuttle, so tried to call the hotel. I got a bilingual recorded message asking me to wait for the next agent to answer my call. I waited 20 minutes. No one ever answered.
These two negatives left me feeling like this is a poorly run facility. Despite some positive features, I left feeling angry. I would not recommend this hotel, and would not choose to stay there again.
