Brief stay during travel
It was a rainy day in Vancouver and our stop was brief as it was mid-travel, but the sleep was exceptional as was the staff. Beautiful hotel with excellent rooms and cleanliness. We would absolutely stay here again. We loved it.

Wow stay in a fantastic location
From our first interaction with reception: the lovely Liz who asked about our preferences & went out of her way to accommodate, to the comfortable and stylish rooms, Happy Hour options - in every way the Granville Island Hotel exceeded our expectations. We chose the hotel for its location and it is exceptional: False Creek views, lovely walks around Granville Island, west to Vanier Park or east to Olympic Village are a huge plus of staying here. There are lots of eateries right here, but we loved Dockside at the hotel. Every member of staff, from front desk to housekeeping to restaurant wait staff at Dockside were welcoming, and made our stay in ven better. Have stayed in many hotels around Vancouver: The Granville Island Hotel is a standout. Absolutely would stay here again.

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Incredible views and so much to do right outside your door. Parking was easy as well. The hotel itself could use an update and was a little dirty.

Absolutely loved our quick over night stay! Friendly staff, best hollandaise sauce I’ve had at breakfast in a long time. Room was very clean and tasteful. My only tiny recommendation would be to repair the toilet paper holder in the bathroom. It was barely hanging on the wall. Still an overall 5 star experience!

The facility is older than I expected and the room service wasn’t good. Like food try hasn’t been removed by the room service and stayed until check out which is weird thing to happened. Hotel rooms are old and felt the price is too expensive to such room prices. I booked two rooms one of them with ocean view balcony but when checked in the room was with balcony with street view not ocean view and I charged extra to change the room with ocean view balcony despite my original booking included room with ocean view balcony.
